I purchased these because I didn’t want to damage my stairs with carpet tape to attach the carpet treads.They were advertised as “Non-Skid Rubber Backing Gripper Stair Treads”These do not stay in place as advertised. They are NOT Non-Skid.They cause trips on the stairs making it very dangerous. To be safe you would definitely have to secure with carpet tape.I DO NOT RECOMMEND! They are a safety hazard.

If you have wood stairs they don’t stick. Yiu have to use stair tape. The quality is fine but they are 3-4 different center colors. Who wants that? None of them match. I even ordered a second set trying to make a matched set and couldn’t. 🤦‍♀️

These are of good quality. I have not used two sided carpet tape (it has non skid backing) but if you have children or are elderly, I would recommend the carpet tape.

Used on two sets of stairs, to ensure someone doesn't slip on the stairs and to protect the stairs from scratches and dents.
