The grinders worked great at first. Then after a month the retainer ring that holds the grinder in place on the pepper mill popped out and it's useless. Popped back in but it keeps popping out. Unfortunately I'm 1 week out of the return window....chalk it up to bad design. Too bad because it could easily be fixed with better design (how about a threaded ring and lock washer) and they work well when they are working!The top reviews don't mention this - did something happen in production recently? I should have paid better attention to the recent reviews.

The BEST salt and pepper grinders I've EVER had! I love the adjustable grind tool--I like to use coarse Himalayan Pink Salt and this grinder works perfectly with it! YAAAAAY!

After using it for a week, the plastic "O" ring around the plastic grinder came out and would not stay. I found myself before it happened to be working harder than I should to get extra fine pepper. The adjustment does not work that well. I am spending the money to get a good pepper mill. Just to update, I received an email from the company about the problem and they are working on it and are sending a full refund. THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would recommend the company but not the pepper mill until they make changes.

Very nice set, arrived early and they are easy to fill and use. Clean simple design. Love being able to clearly see the contents.

We really only needed to replace one, but since they were only sold in pairs we ordered and paid $54 for the pair (with tax and delivery). When they came they were very clearly used as they had sticky notes INSIDE the grinders reading "This one works" and "Plastic ring broke after use -- doesn't work". I don't want to have to return during this pandemic, but we certainly shouldn't have to pay full price for two NEW grinders when we only got one used one. What can be done?

As a person who is eliminating plastic from my life, I LOVE these salt and pepper grinders. They replace a set run on batteries, and I just like the feel of these better, even though the require a little more effort. I just feel my salt and pepper are fresher in these. (They probably aren't, but I'm going with it anyhow.)

So comfortable! Went to local spice store to choose salt and peppers. The fresh spices are much more tasty...really helps to reduce salt because you don't need as much. Very easy to fill and grind. Nice large size will blend with most decors. Great gift item!

For the price (on a Today's Deal special), these look good and so far work well. They were bigger than I thought but that's my fault because I didn't look at measurements. The glass is a little thicker but for the usage, that's probably a good thing too. All in all, a nice product for the price. Just in case you aren't aware, these do come empty - so don't forget to order your salt and pepper too.
