Useful Rack- not so much for looks
I had to return the first kit as the box had been crushed and parts lost. Second time I got everything- nearly. Everything I had to have to install the rack. Instructions are a bit redundant and hard to follow. Takes awhile to figure out how they go together and mount. I put these on a Scion xD. Somewhere at Perrycraft site they do tell you that some newer cars do not have a parallel roof line. Such is the case with my car. So, take a look at your roof. Measure across front and back to see if it is the same distance. In my case since I don't have a moon roof it really doesn't matter but the rack goes clear across the back and tapers inward toward the front. The rack itself is sturdy but taking the bars off when you don't need them is a bit problematic. I would recommend this kit if you want a good sturdy rack for canoes or kayaks and don't want to spend a bunch of money. It is a permanent installation but I think better than the clip-on arrangements offered by Thule or Yakima.

Love this rack
Had to really search around to find a rack to fit my '08 Chevy HHR. This one did the job. Simple to install once you figure out how it goes together. Their instructions are not very helpful.

Good Quality - Good Design
Installed this roof rack on my Jeep Wrangler. I bought the "fiber glass roof" install kit - not available at amazon for some reason. It was easy to cut and fit and looks good on the jeep.

looks good, feels sturdy
I installed this roof rack on a 2005 Ford Focus ZX3. The rack looks great, and I think it will do just what I want it to. I am happy with the product.

Great rack!
Bought this rack when my 2009 Toyota Venza was new. The dealer wanted $1,200 to install a lesser after-market rack. I decided to buy this and install it myself. I have to say that I was nervous about drilling holes in my roof to install the rack and about how long both my roof and the rack would hold up over time. This was a great purchase. It looks great on my car and has held up beautifully. I've carried skis (with ski rack attachment bought elsewhere), canoes, and kayaks on it with no problems. The rack is well worth the price. Don't hesitate.
