Dimensions Review: Poor Quality, Cheap Materials, Overpriced. - This was my first Godrej safe purchase and I am disappointed at the quality and build of it. I had a Sentry safe purchased in US before this for $100 and thats one solid build with fire safe walls, thick body and high quality locking mechanism - so for this Rs 8000+ safe I had same expectations. However, this is cheap metal body with no protection with a cheap basic circuitry to implement keyless locking mechanism. It was packaged poorly with scratches on the corner along with paint chipoffs. Also inside circuit box was not screwed in and the pieces were scattered all over inside safe - I had to assemble it myself without much instructions. Manual instructions are hard to understand and incomplete and in some cases wrong. No instructions on how to use USB port to download data. Given the quality and build - this shouldnt be more than Rs 1000 safe - Godrej is having probably huge profit margins in their safe. While I wont be buying any more of their products I have decided to keep this one as there is no other viable option. Review: Battery dead and poor packaging and NO FREE DEMO - The battery was dead on arrival with the spare key locked in!. Godrej CC asked β‚Ή600 for demo even though the product title here says free demo. This is just a safe and you don't need a demo but with the battery dead and the key locked in I had no other choice.
