And bam you now have a keyless entry fob. Best purchase in terms of accessibility, time saver, and overall great feature to make an old car feel special/New in a way. Distance wise I say it's got distance, I was able to lock my doors from all the way from my apartment. And it's quite a walk away. Overall best value for your money, I've bought a key fob similar to this one but it was piss poor in terms of Distance I literally had to unlock the door by putting the key fob next to the driver side door, luckily they refunded me my money instantly, and didn't have to return it at all.
