I bought two pair of these socks a few months ago, but have delayed posting as I wanted to have some experience with them before I gave a review. Some background. I am fairly athletic, and fit, my calves are not really large... (this is actually an important consideration when using compression socks). I have an issue with leg swelling and use compression socks for all my day to day wear. I have dress socks that work great (see my review of aetrex compression socks) and I have been trying various brands of compression socks for more athletic uses, hiking tennis, etc. Some have been well constructed but I have never quite found my "go to" sock. I think I just found them. The socks are well built and appear to be very durable. The toe is constructed in such a manner that it isn't a bother. the sock is modestly cushioned so it works for the kind of activities I subject it to. They stay up well, have modest compression. Like most, if you have narrow calves, I recommend ordering down a size. (some suppliers actually give you guidelines based on shoe size AND calf circumference.). For example, I have a 11.5 size shoe - I ordered the size medium socks. I found the compression just about perfect for me- kept any swelling down, but not so much as to feel too tight. It appears this design was done by some serious athletes... and I love the looks. Update - It has been 2 years since I bought these socks. I just bought several more pair. After two years of good solid use, these socks are still going strong. I wash them in the regular wash and I use a drier. out of the 3-4 types of socks I have tried, these hold up best. And they fit me well. A reminder, I have thin calves so I downsized one size. I get all the compression I need and the sock is the right length for me. Can't be happier... I am no longer looking for athletic compression socks - this is the brand, THE ONLY brand for me. net - original rating is still good after 2 years. New update June ‘23. In the last month several pair got holes in them. So I guess I now know how long they last. I bought several new pair. The socks are definitely good quality socks. I lowered my rating one star just because I’m greedy and would want one more year from them.

These worked well they were not crazy tight like sime of them are the top band was nice and comfortable. I would recommend..

These are fantastic. They fit great and I love the color. The toe seam hasn’t ripped from washing. The leg support is great. My legs don’t hurt after wearing these 8 hours. My legs feel great when I take them off. I absolutely love these. The 20-30 mmHg is great way better than the 15 20 I was wearing from another brand.

Long 17-hour flights seem to be my fate of late so I thought I'd try these at the behest of some of my acquaintance who were touchingly concerned, I thought, about DVT and my chances of developing one with constant travel. Door-to-door times to my destination often take up to 28 hours. Aspirin and elevating my feet in-flight have still left me with cankles that feel swollen and look puffy for days. Not my favourite look - cankles. No siree... There was definitely less swelling at journey's end but a raw, red sock mark on the skin at the very top of the sock. Bloody hell, these were tight going on!! I washed them first to loosen the fibres up a bit. I wasn't expecting a padded fit but these were surprisingly comfortable ONCE ON. Pull them up methodically and slowly, almost like you're doing a Pilates move vertebrae by vertebrae and you'll get them on alright. These are not socks for fun or personal statements: these are COMPRESSION socks made for specific reasons. Thank god for the variety of colours this firm makes. The standard offerings are black, beige and white. Nursey shades like in "Julia" - except that I'm not the divine Diahann Carroll, one of the only women alive who looked gorgeous in Fifties nursing regalia. Listen, my feet felt fine after 2 legs of 5 hours and 17 hours flying time respectively. I had ZERO swelling and not a cankle in sight! What I did NOT like was the look and the feel of the sock band etched red and raw into my skin and for that it can't get a '4-Star' rating I had to keep adjusting the top of the sock in-flight. And yes, I even bought the sock one size UP. Will go up a size on the next pair. And there WILL be a next pair given the overall good results I had. I did however, keep wondering if the band eating into the skin was doing more damage than not. My calves aren't slender stems but they're not wide calves by any means. Compressor socks are a great buy! I could not work everyday without. These have been thru many washes and are holding up nicely. I air dry!

Excellent socks great quality good support. I’m using them after vein surgery every day since I stopped having to wear medical support stockings as I do a lot of walking. They are tight to put on may need to lie down to get them on correctly but once on very comfortable. Will buy more.

These are a fantastic pair of socks I got them for when I go running but have started to use them at work as well as I'm on my feet for 12 hrs a day, these socks have stopped all aches and pains I used to suffer from while at work they're so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them. I rinse them through with warm water and they don't seem to hold any odour, I will be buying more pairs of them soon and have recommended them to a few friends and family members. I would definitely recommend buying these if you suffer with any pain while on your feet all day
