kind of works
Nice product. Awesome idea.Doesn't always worked.Did not work with my battery charger, logitech keyboard charger, black and decker hand held vacuum charger...It did work with my cell phone and some or two other items. If it worked with more items that would be great. Also the dial sensitivity doesn't seem to do much. I contacted customer support and they promptly answered but didn't really provide any solutions.Customer service is responsive and helpful though.

It's not as advanced as it makes itself out to be
I bought this unit for my cordless tools. It's calibration dial is pretty useless. If you set the unit so it can start up, it won't shut down when the batteries are charged. I'm very well aware of how calibration tools work and this unit's calibration unit is pretty much useless. It should have a microproceesor that can sense voltage flow. It would drive the price up but it would make this unit be able to do what it says it can do; actually shut down after the last battery is charged. So, as far as I'm concerned, this unit is pretty useless unless you're looking to pay for an overpriced power strip.

Don't work with some items
This charging station only works partway. It charges my phone as it should but whenever I try to charge things that don't draw that much energy (like my Bluetooth earpiece or an ipod) it doesn't work and won't charge the item. After trying to give it a chance I would like to return it but the window has expired. I'm very disappointing with this product.

just what we needed for dispatching company
We bought a few of the "charging stations" and they are the answer to our phone situation. We mounted the "charging stations" on the wall and we place all of the phones that need charging and just press the start button. It works great . Once the last phone is finished charging the "charging station" automatically shuts itself off.We dont have to worry anymore of whether the phones are finished charging and the best part is that the phones are no longer hot from being over charged . We are sure that this "charging station" is going to extend the battery life of each phone. Thanks Amazon for carrying this product on your site.

Okay so, this could be a way better product.
This just doesn't work all that well. it's hard to get it to register the right types of chargers at the right times. And it has an always on light which I think is kind of against the whole concept of not paying for electricity you don't really want. After I purchased this I saw there are some types that are just a timer-style. So you set it for 6 hours and then it turns off. That would work much better for my purposes. For instance, you plug in a drill in the garage and just press the button, and then six hours later when it's right about done charging it turns off. This one though, you have to keep checking to see did it turn off? Is it still on? Did my cellphone charge? Did it not charge? Fiddle with the button. Plug in a different thing, then it won't shut off, fiddle with the buttons, then it won't turn on. It's plain annoying.

Depends what you need.
I can see how this device would work well for the person who mounted it on the wall. I use it next to my bedside table where i have my ipad, kindle, laptop, cellphone, etc chargers. The calibration didn't work very well for me since the sensitivity dial didn't seem to do anything. It kept turning off when I had my cordless vacuum plugged in. It works okay without the vac plugged in, but I would not have gotten it if I knew I had to press the button everytime i wanted to charge things, I thought it would auto sensor when i plugged something in. The button is in a really clumsy spot especially since the strip is on the floor. I would be happier if there was a corded or remote button i could leave on my table so the strip could be hidden behind furniture.

False advertising
See my review on the 10 plug version. This doesn't work. Don't waste your money

Wait for the next version
This is a nice idea, but I'll be returning mine for a couple of reasons.First problem: for a device specifically designed to charge AC Adapters - "wall warts" - the plugs are way too close to eachother. You can realistically only get 3-4 devices plugged into this critter, including one "always on" space. My dreams of charging two phones, a laptop, and two NiMH chargers in one place were dashed. You could buy extension cords and stuff to address this problem, but this simple geometry problem should have been designed for from day 1.Second problem: for devices that have a long boot-up sequence, for example NiMH battery chargers you can buy here on Amazon, you have to stand there holding the "start" button while waiting for it to boot, loading your batteries, and programming your charger. Needless to say, using a device should not be a dexterity game, and my partner is not going to go for this. Those chargers were forced to retreat to the "always on" plugs, thus they're not "eco" plugs at all.I'm sure there's some person out there who has a lucky combination of devices that will work with this device smoothly, but its not me. I'm returning this item. :(
