Bamboo silica helps strengthen bones, nails, hair and joints. I was using Biosil, which costs a lot more. It’s very effective, but is cultured in mold (come to find out), and mold is the one allergy I have out of the dozens I was I tested for.

I use this powder as a beauty/makeup product instead of an internal supplement. Essentially, I break open the capsules and empty it into a bamboo cosmetic container to use as a dupe for 100% Pure's Bamboo Blur Powder which is essentially really expensive translucent (but safe for you) powder that contains only one ingredient: bamboo silica. I haven't used the 100% Pure's Bamboo Blur Powder, but this seems to work well for the purpose of temporarily making your pores appear smaller, blotting oil, and providing a slightly more even complexion.

Update: my pimples have stopped, constipation has subsided. Hair is growing! I go to the hairdresser in a few weeks so that will be the real test. I am noticing rouge forehead hairs. I have heard rogain users get this too. I have to say I am very very pleased and may never stop taking the biotin 5000 (natrol beauty) and this product. I would say my shedding has decreased as well. I do have to cut off some length as it’s so thin at the bottom and getting thicker at the top it looks strange. My nails are a bit stronger but the growth is slow. 1st review: I have been taking biotin 5000 and have added this. My nails took some time to start growing but are doing so now. I don’t notice a change in strength. My hair has started to grow the new hairs on my crown so I am please just not sure if it is this or the biotin. I do get random pimples now and I am constipated. Has to be the biotin and this product because nothing else has changed. My skin feels soft and my face besides the rouge pimples looks great. I am 45 and my hair has always been thin and fine I just have noticed my temple area getting very very thin. No hair growth in that area.

This works for growing hair longer. I’ve been using this in combination with rosemary oil to prevent shedding so my hair can grow longer and it’s made an enormous difference. I have a lot of hair and shed quite a bit normally,. There is almost no hair in my drain now and my hair has gotten longer in the 3 months I’ve been using it. Before this, my hair was growing consistently and faster than the average person, but shedding fast so it took forever to see a noticeable difference in length. I also take Pure Encapsulations MSM powder but I’ve been taking that for a while.
