The coil on a Echo weedeater was failing, this coil was installed and worked fine.

Shindaiwa T235
Just installed on my Shindaiwa T235 and it fired right up👍🏽. Came with a business card to set the gap. I hope it has the durability of the OEM.

Worked about 2 hours
Installation was easy for my Echo SRM 225. Remove wire from spark plug and two bolts holding cover on. Then unplug the wire going to top of coil. Remove the two bolts holding the coil in place. Rotate fly wheel so magnets will line up with new coil. Place the card for gapping it between flywheel and new coil. Replace bolts, tighten, reattach wire, remove the card and put cover back on and reattach spark plug wire. Started easily and worked great for about 2 hours then completely quit, so it's going back to Amazon and I will try a different brand.

The new part worked great just be sure to use 10,000 inch feeler gauge to get the right distance
Easy to install if you have the right tools, If your not getting a spark from your plug then you probably need a new ignition coil
