A+D Original Diaper Rash Ointment, Skin Protectant, 4 Ounce Tube

Works great at preventing diaper rash in newborns. Was told by the hospital to put a dab of A&D or some other butt paste inside diaper and wipe their butt. We were doing it every change, but have since stopped to only a few times a day. A little goes a long way.

I usually use aqua-for, but this is a great substitute. My mom used to use this on me when I was little. Reduces friction and soreness after pooping.

A little more oily than I expected but works well. Not sure if it is but it seems like it has less bad stuff in it than the competitors

Really worked out for our family and it’s all we use now. Protects and shields like a charm every time! Only thing is it is kind of pricey.

If I could choose just 3 things to have when stranded on a desert island, A & D Ointment would be one of the 3 items, no question. Have used it since I was kid for every kind of cut, scrape, abrasion, gouge, hang-nail, etc. It seals out the air, which stops the stinging; and keeps it moist to help with healing. Great for chapped lips or any other super dry skin. Always take it with me on trips, etc. Will never be without this little gem!
