Great blue ice blocks.
My wife uses them to set salad serving bowls on during warm weather events. I like them for the soft sided cooler in the car when traveling.

Stays cold for 24 hours.
They are large and heavy but one on the bottom and one on the top of my cooler keeps drinks super cold for an entire day in a hot car.

Better than I thought they would be.
They are much larger than I thought when I purchased them. Froze them and they stayed very, very cold in the cooler for 6-8 hours! They are a bit heavy, but to me it's not a problem.

good size.
These freeze easily and then last about 24 hours. I would prefer something thicker.

Works ok but could be better.
Works ok- would be better if the design didn't have raised parts- food cannot sit totally flat on product- but keeps cooler cool.

Okay. Just Okay.
I should have measured my cooler. That's 100% on me. These don't fit my favorite medium sized cooler. I'm sure they'll get used in our big coolers, and I'm sure I'll use them for pre-cooling the fridge in the camper, but... These are just okay. Why 4 stars if it is my fault they're not the perfect fit?I don't like the texture. Why have a texture? That just means that things cannot lay perfect flat against the cold. Fortunately, mine are not bulging too much, so they're relatively flat. These are probably 4.5 stars, but I'm feeling bitter about leaving my favorite ice back at a friend's house 2,000 miles away so this product gets 4 stars.

How did them make it fit everything I own???
These freeze packs seem to somehow be a great size for every cooler I own. It fits down to my smaller tacti-cool soft sided "personal lunch cooler" all the way up to a larger knock-off the the "sasquatch branded" cooler. They really are about the perfect size, at least for me. They also fit in the freezer pretty well. The handle is nice too and they are easy to keep clean. My main complaint is that when they are frozen they get "lumpy". The freezer packs develop distinct lumps and bumps along the outside from various internal pressures and expansion from freezing. At that point they no longer lay flat really and flat stuff laid on top of them tends to wobble. I'm knocking off a star for this because it's annoying and the extra thickness of the lumps and bumps changes the dimensions and thickness of the freezer packs. That said, I trusted them with my crab cakes!I grew up and still live in southern Maryland in a family that has origins in Kentucky. My Mom and Dad moved back to Kentucky for their retirement several years ago but I stayed here, and my brother and sister both ended up in Colorado. My Dad passed a couple of years ago and since then my brother and I make an annual trip to Mom's around father's day to help her with various household stuff that she can't handle alone and doesn't want to ask the church for help with (basically a honey-do list). Anyway, as a "taste of home" I made a batch of homemade crab cakes to travel the 600+ miles and around 12 hours with me last week. In my good "sasquatch themed brand knock off" cooler sandwiched between two of these freeze packs my crab cakes arrived in good order. MD blue crab is not cheap so had they not worked out well this would have been a not insignificant loss! The sodas and various travelling snacks I brought stayed nice and cold as well.So at the end of the day they are good cooler packs. They can last all day in a good cooler. I recommend them, as long as you don't mind a few lumps and bumps.
