Pig Pig the Guinea Pig gives 5 star, 2 thumbs and lots of squeals over this! Only issue is it's a little dusty.. I've only bought this 2 times, this is my second time around, first box lasted us well over 2 months. This second box was a little moist feeling and the top layer was a little brown and old looking but overall so far my pig loves it! This seems to be better quality than Walmart's Hay and it last WAY longer even though both are the same amount/weight. Walmart brand is always full of moss, (Spanish Moss) and its literally left over junk but was cheaper than Tractor Supply at the time. Now that I found this, I don't plan to go back to Walmart OR Tractor Supply ($25+ for 6lbs!)

I received the box of timothy hay in good condition. However, the hay is not green. It is very old and dry. This is not a first fresh cut of Timothy hay. I am very disappointed in the quality of the timothy hay that was delivered to me.

So far, this brand has not disappointed me. My chinchilla and holland lop love the sturdiness of this first cut with plenty of nutrition on them. While I do not eat hay ( lol) I can tell they give this brand a repetitive paws up and they go to town once i give them a bundle . Looks very healthy ( no brown pieces ) and packed nicely in a reusable box that looks nice among their other cage supplies and food. I use to have to place on a better looking container with holes but it is nice not having to worry about it. It is a good idea to open the box right so to keep it stored once closed. These guys are high maintenance cage cleaners and supplies so every little bit helps !

What I like this hay: it’s packaged very well and looks and smells very fresh. My hesitation and star rank? - The hay itself doesn’t seem consistent enough for my rabbit to want eat it all the time. Some boxes last barely a month and some last almost 2 months. It really shouldn’t last that long. I’m still buying until I find a replacement but honestly it’s too expensive for my bunny to sleep on it.

Super weird Timothy hay. It's very thick and very long. We only got this because the brand we had on subscription was cancelled by Amazon because it was going to be late.

My piggie loves it. Not that super hard stale stuff either. Highly recommended
