Can this work with the Cricut Joy if if cut it down to size?

Yes but you’ll have to put it on the mat. I use my cricut vinyls on both my joy and maker with no problems (just need to use it on a mat if it’s not the smart vinyl for that machine).

Yes it can, just like any other iron-on. The only thing is that with an Explore 2, it would have to be cut on the mat, that's all.

I’ve just received this today but I hve a cricut explore 2, why is it only compatible with maker and explore 3? Can I use it on my explore 2 ?

Yes you can, I think they only say explore 3 to promote the newer version of the explore perhaps? But this vinyl works perfectly with my explore 2.. if anything it just needs to be cut to size slightly as when used with a mat it’s a teeny tiny bit too wide. It says it can be used without a mat but I find it can slip without a good standard grip mat. Hope that helps!

What is the recommended temperature to heat press this vinyl onto a t-shirt?

Use a sheet of greaseproof paper or a silicon pressing sheet over the vinyl and you can use the iron on the hottest setting.
