6'x9' No-Muv Non Slip Rug on Carpet Pad - Includes Rug and Pad Care Guide

I have a polypropylene material area rug which is thin and has a woven backing. It kept 'rolling' from usage. It is on top of a very low pile wall to wall carpet. After awhile I couldn't get the 'humps' out of it and I kept tripping on it. This No-Muv non slip rug on carpet has performed as stated. My area rug is staying exactly where it should and it actually allowed me to get the humps out permanently. Can't say enough about this product!

After trying two other pads, this one works the best on our low pile wall to wall carpet. It was a lot more than I wanted to spend, but I needed something that worked. When received, I had to call the company to determine which side is placed down - the harder light gray side (goes on the carpet), and which side goes up towards the rug - the softer dark gray side. The representative was very helpful and nice. I suggested they add installation instructions to their packaging to save a phone call from their customers. Overall, it's a great product and I would purchase again!

I was given a lovely Oriental (8x10). The only room in which to use it was on top of wall-to-wall carpet. It fit the open area perfectly and matched everything, but it walked and bunched-up so terribly on top of the carpet that I truly despaired. I had no where else to put it, and I was constantly tripping over it, couldn't push the vacuum over it and it made the whole room feel messy and disorganized. Enter No-Muv. I found it while researching carpet pads. I felt it was expensive, so I ordered a 6x9 for the 8x10 Oriental, reasoning that I had furniture on top of two sides of the rug and there was fringe on the ends. It has truly worked a miracle. The Oriental no longer walks or has big ripples like ocean waves. I can vacuum it without it getting eaten in the beater bar and, most importantly, it stays in place throughout every day traffic. Occasionally an outside corner not held down by furniture moves a bit, but this can easily be smoothed out with the tap of my foot. I am now considering another pad for a runner that sits on top of wall-to-wall carpet in my hall. No-Muv may be pricey, but I can now enjoy how the Oriental makes the room look for the first time since I laid it down, so, for me, it's been well worth it.

My first No-Muv pad was purchased over 20 years ago and still in excellent condition. I have tried other pads making the same claim and found them all lacking. This pad truly does the best job of preventing creeping of an area rug on plush carpet. Though the manufacturer doesn't recommend it - to clean I have taken these pads out to my driveway, squirted dish soap on them, scrubbed them, hosed them off very well and let them air dry. I had an old dog that towards the end of his life was breaking training.The cost to send the pad to rug cleaner to remove the odor was about as much as the pad cost so I figured I didn't have anything to lose if the pad fell apart with home cleaning.

What a great product.....just what we needed to make a "crawling" rug become stationary. The rug professional who advised we purchase this rug-pad was more than helpful in solving our problem: No-Muv non slip pad is the only way to go....Thanks!!!

Works perfectly

This product actually works. Bought a month ago and put under and over carpet. The top carpet had been a daily straighten out chore. The No-muv has kept the top carpet from moving and I haven't had to straighten it out once. I'm delighted!Amended review: I liked the piece I bought (smaller than I needed due to cost) so much I bought more and like it even better. No reservations with this product. Well worth the price.Amended again. Used a leftover piece to put under a tiny throw rug. Doesn't work so well with small rugs. Still thrilled with my big rug pad.

I was skeptical about it when i first read about it. I bought an area rug that is placed over my regular carpet that is a medium pile. After a month or two, the rug starts to buckle because i have a dining table placed on top and the legs are pushing it against the carpet. It got so bad that i was tempted to throw it away.Then i found out about this no-muv. I took a chance and bought it. It is a pretty thick and hard pad that acts like a hard floor and the rug didn't buckle anymore. Thank you No-muv.
