Julep When Pencil Met Gel All-Day Eyeliner, Sharpenable, Rich Brown Matte

This is BY FAR the BEST eyeliner I've ever used. It goes on smoothly (I'm 65 so that is a problem for us). Easy to create a beautiful line. Doesn't fade, waterproof even with my watery eyes, smudges beautifully. I friggin' LOVE IT. PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING THIS! And this dark brown color is gorgeous!!

These are hands-down the best eyeliners I have used in quite some time. I have tried super cheap, drugstore pencils, expensive name brands that cost $30-$40 for a pencil, and these are amazing. They are easy to sharpen, which I like, I like a very sharp point, and they go on easily, but they are not so soft that they don't apply precisely. They are the perfect mix of soft/hard. Very easy to glide on my eyelids, and you have around 5-8 seconds to smudge it or clean up smears, or I use my finger nail to swipe up the liner at the end of my lashes. After that time, the eyeliner stays put, it will not budge. It is amazing, it doesn't smear off, it doesn't bleed out under my eyes or on my eyelids (I have always gotten eyeliner on my eyelids by end of day. I must have oily eyelids, not gross, but very moisturized or something). This comes off easily with Micellar water and I wash with face wash. I purchased the dark brown (which is very dark brown, nearly black), the glittery brown (so pretty and not as harsh as the dark brown, the clay (pretty light, but still pretty) and the dark green (haven't worn yet but it's pretty). These are such a great deal and I expect them to last 6-8 months, depending on how much you use them. I know some people don't like to sharpen their eyeliners, but I do. It's the only way to get a precise point and create thin lines, in my opinion. Get a good sharpener. :)

I really like the product advertised and how smooth it went on. I really wanted the bronze color advertised so I took a chance ordering. I won’t be ordering again, because for the price, you don’t get much pencil.

This gets five stars (it won't allow me to select the second star for some reason). This is one of the longest lasting eye pencils I've ever used and I've tried them all! IT. Sephora. Lancome. Estee Lauder. You can't beat the price point. The only place I had to freshen up by the end of the day was the corners of my eyes. It makes a great liner for under my eyes and smokes out beautifully. I also used it to line my upper lids and it stayed all day without smudging or transferring. This makeup snob highly recommends the Julep eye pencil.

Glides very nice, doesn't make a super white color, it most likely needs layers. The tip broke a couple seconds after I started using it and it clearly needs to be used very very gently to prevent snapping. Thankfully its just sticky enough that I can mush the bit back on. It'll be more prone to falling off though. I tried rubbing at it and there was basically no smudge at all!

Wonderful gel pencil. I have purchased many Gel Pencils for my lower lid, that will stay on.. This does stay on. It goes on smoothly and is waterproof. I also bought the gel sharpener, which works great. I also purchased 2 more and have registered for monthly auto ship. Yes…I am sold.

Me and my daughter love this stuff! Quality. Gets a little messy if you are not careful. But stays on pretty good. Goes on very smooth!

Has a tendency to skip and clump a little but stays on pretty well.

Very soft to apply and a flattering deep violet colour which brings out my mid-brown eye colour.

Finally I found the perfect sharpener for my eyeliner. It doesn’t ruin my kohl eyeliners.

I have half a dozen of these now, they are easy to use, soft on the lid, draw smooth no snagging and last all day. They fix well, hold their colour and come off easily at the end of the day. I'm a 50 something woman with post menopausal skin, lines and a bit of drying around the eyes. The darker colours hold true for longer, the shimmer colours are lovely but do tend to fade after about 16hrs. The gold one tends to shed a bit but its a nice look and you can layer the shimmer colours over the darker ones after setting time, which gives it a nice look which lasts! A bit pricey for what they are but comparable to other brands. If you work in a hot busy environment like me - ward based - they are worth a go. They come singly, no sharper included, that's extra and IS pricey for what it is.
