Good replacement part. Was easy to install if a little tight to begin with. Watched a video for the process and the only problem we had was because I accidentally moved a supply line in the process of pulling the DW out of the cabinet. Door works great and a whole lot cheaper than replacing the DW!

Right size !! Very easy to install!!

The hinge cable was identical to the factory cables. One of the original cables had broken and the other was partial torn. The door now is counterweighted and works well.

I was going to call someone to come and repair my dishwasher door when the door was broken. I checked the issue online and I found that the issue was this simple device. After I brought it, I pulled out the dishwasher a little bit (about 6-8 inches after unscrewing 2 screws at top) and replaced the broken one. The installation was super easy and took me less than 2 min.If anyone has the dishwasher door issue, just buy this device and replace the old one. One thing I was wondering about the size but it seems that the size is pretty much standard, but you should check your dishwasher manual first.

Perfect fit

One of the 2 hinge cables failed after 6 weeks in use. The return policy for this manufacturer is only 4 weeks (or 30 days). The cable pulled cleanly out of the lower plastic connector - so of course the dishwasher door crashed to the floor. Amazon offered no help in refunding or return except to point to the maker's website overseas - which - even if it was within the 30 days, made it difficult to file a complaint or return request online on their site. This isn't a high dollar product so pursuing it is not convenient...perhaps by design.REVISED, ONE WEEK LATER: Initially, I didn't see how this would be addressed without the normal return selections visible on the order history, but shortly after my one star review I received a message from Blue Stars asking how they could make things right. I had already re-purchased the product from another vendor, but they refunded the purchase price to our account. All very professional and intent on fixing the outcome.

The product was delivered on time and as advertised

One of our cable strings broke and then the dishwasher opened dangerously quick. I looked all around for the best replacement and came up with this product. Does the job. Fairly easy to install if you're able to pull out the dishwasher about 6 inches. Noticed the other cable was starting to fray as well so I'm glad I received a pair to replace them both! Not sure how long they'll hold up, but if as long as the originals, it should last until I'm ready for a new dishwasher!
