Sawyer Products SP2101 MINI Water Filtration System, 2-Pack, Blue and Green

Sawyer is the king of water filtration on the go for a reason. These last a long time and can filter a ton of water. Don't waste your time with other brands. I will be buying these for a long, long time.(Check out the gravity bags to take it to the next level)

Love this sawyer water filter set. Really easy to use. Comes with 2 straws, 2 squeezable bag with twist caps and a mesh bag to keep everything together. The squeezable bags are tough to use (to fill from a stream). So I replaced them with another bag that has a larger opening. The filters connect to a regular water bottle twist caps (Poland spring/smart water bottle).Arrows on the side make it helpful to understand which way the filtered water should flow. No after taste or weird flavor so you can really get the cool “spring water” taste of a mountain spring.It also comes with cleaning syringes to reverse out any debris that gets stuck in the filter. These should last a relatively long time if taken care of.Definitely recommend adding to your hiking kit. Great value for two filters.

Packaging needs to be better, and ideally, it would come with a tamper-free decal of some sort to make sure it hasn't been used. Even though this was delivered in a box rather than a plastic envelope, the plastic package (not the box) still arrived open, so I'm not sure what happened to this before. I'm not entirely happy about that to be honest. Other than that, the Sawyer Mini's are great to filter water and are absolutely recommended. I just wish the company would do better with the packaging.

Have used sawyer products in the past & was satisfied. The Mini's are going into BHB bags - just in case.

Now I don’t have to carry gallons and gallons of water with me. In case you were wondering how the water tastes after going through one of these, well, if you’ve ever had straight reverse osmosis water, that’s what it tastes like. Slightly acidic and void of minerals. But hey, what are you gonna do? That’s better than giardia right? 😁

Great little filtration system. I've used mine several times during hikes both in the Appalachian mountains, as well as the Rocky mountains, and I haven't gotten sick!A friend of mine also used his to thru hike the entire Appalachian trail, and never got sick, even when drinking from some pretty questionable water sources! I've bought nothing but Sawyer filtrations systems ever since.

Very few reviews can say they have field tested this product to the level that I have. Multiple, week long backpacking trips in a variety of weather conditions. Hundreds of uses in many different water quality settings. Solid product, proven results, tested to the max. Highly recommended. The only brand I will use when out in the field.
