Vitamin C Serum

I had never used a vitamin C serum before I bought this. I did a lot of research beforehand to determine what to look for and which serum to buy. I'm glad I made the right choice. I just wish I knew about it sooner!The packaging is perfect. The bottle is opaque so no light will seep in and ruin the integrity of the serum. From what I can tell, the serum hasn't had any color added to it (some add orange or yellow). No smell either. I'd also like to add that the label itself is just so pretty!Before I even received my serum, I reveived an email from LilyAna Naturals with information on how to properly use it when it arrived. It's clear they care about their products and want to make sure they're being used to their full potential.I've only been using this product for 3 days and I already see a difference. I have a lot of acne scarring, and I tend to pick at my acne which creates even more scarring. It's a vicious cycle. In just three days I've seen a reduction in redness, faster recovery, and an overall reduction in breakouts. I also have combination sensitive skin, so I was worried about introducing a new, potentially irritating product into my routine. I haven't had any irritation at all. I love that this serum includes hyaluronic acid, aloe, and vitamin E as well to help add moisture and more benefits. My skin is brighter, clearer, and feels immensely better.I will likely update this after a few weeks, but I couldn't wait to review because I'm tickled by the results I've already seen and am very pleased by LilyAna. Wonderful Vitamin C serum. I like my products to have less ingredients (although, do note that "less" is NOT always "better). This serum is watery and you only need to use a dime amount to cover the whole face. I was putting it into one palm, pressing my palms together, then pressing it into my face. But I found a better application method is to put a dime sized amount into your palm and use a finger to apply it all around your face and then gently spread it from there. Much better coverage. First night I incorporated this into my skincare regime, my parched, dry skin looked buoyant, glowing, and felt amazingly soft. Do note that with this product I did experience a tiny bit of "burning", that goes away, and have found NO irritation. I did read somewhere that this sting is common with Vitamin C products and not to worry about it, unless of course you experience skin irritations. Directions state to wait at least 1-2 minutes until applying another product on top, to allow the serum to soak into skin. But I have also read that you should wait 15 minutes. I have tested out both and if you have the time, I would allow it to set for 10-15, but 2 minutes worked fine as well.I am young (24), but had been noticing these fine lines creeping up all over my face (most likely those "I see them but no one else does"). Now, they are relatively gone and I haven't even been using this product the required 60 days to see improvement.Also! LilyAna Naturals is one of those GEMS you can find on Amazon. A small business with AMAZING customer service. I expressed some questions about their formula (I'm pregnant and need to look into what I put on my body), and Sheryl offered to send me a bottle of their new altered formula at no charge to me. So sweet, responsive, and really looking to satisfy their customer and provide a quality product. Choose this serum above all the cheaper imitators full of fillers and fluff.

So my roommate works for Sephora which means she gets a LOT of free stuff from each line. This means I also get to try a LOT of free stuff that I wouldn’t normally buy myself (I’m kinda on the cheap end of the spectrum LOL). Skin care is important to me in general, moreso as I age, but also because I have acne prone skin (even in my thirties). I consider myself to have decent experience since I have tried many things of allllllll items in all price ranges for many moons LOL but I have no authoritative power to back this self assessment hahaReading reviews for skin care is hard. everyone’s skin is different! Things you put on it yourself, Stuff you eat drink inhale etc, everything else that ends up in the mix from all the OTHER external variables... It’s a weirdly delicate balance that differs from person to person. I tried another brand just before this that I wasn’t all that crazy about. I’ve been sort of stalking the ones that are around $20 and under. Honestly, before buying this one I kept skipping over it because for some reason the design on the label just wasn’t jiving with me lol I know, it’s stupid. But the retinol cream label and the lettering just looked kind of hokey to me! In my head it smelled like old ladies or hippies incense oils or something lol (hey - lesson learned!!)I bought it on prime day i think. I couldn’t pass up the deal and seriously am glad I did because I am back for another. I really love it. I use a retinoid and differing gel and sometimes other drying stuff on spots (I probably wash my face too much too oh well) so I have DRY SKIN. I LOVE this serum. It isn’t sticky, it isn’t shiny. It didn’t make me break out. It doesn’t smell weird. It doesn’t sting or dry weird. I wear a lot of face makeup for a long period of time during the day and i love how it wears under my foundation! I seriously was like NOOOOOOO when I realized the dropper was barely reaching the serum and I needed more pronto. Try it. Maybe you’ll hate it but you could also wind up loving it like me haha

I bought this alongside the Retinol cream (LilyAna Naturals Retinol Cream Moisturizer 1.7 Oz) they sell, and I began to apply these two products every morning (after I cleanse and exfoliate my face). Initially, the cream made me break out a little in a bunch of small bumps, but after reading online that it was normal, I persevered - And sure enough, after about a week, I noticed a huge difference! While I'm normally very prone to breaking out, it's now rather rare for me to get a pimple. On top of that, my skin also feels incredibly soft and firm, and I can definitely see/feel the difference in how taut my skin is. I had a few fine line wrinkles on my forehead, around my eyes, and my mouth, but I noticed they disappeared after using these products.I don't know how well they would work for someone older than me (I'm 23 - It's never too early to start an anti-aging regime!), but I can say for certain that it seems to work with fine lines at least. I also wore sunscreen and did my best to avoid the sun as much as possible as directed by the instructions (I think this is specifically for the Retinol), and I didn't notice any sunburning at all.Overall, I am very pleased and will buy these products again when I run out! My only gripe is that I wish it was a bit cheaper, but $40 for both products is still definitely worth it considering the benefits.

I've been using the product for a month and half now, I wanted to try it for a while before formulating my feedback to see how it worked overtime. I'll preface this by saying that I have no experience with any other brand of serum, this was my first time trying a product of this type. I used this at the minimum every day and on some days twice a day. I have overall good skin: Middle aged (read: fine lines around the eyes, forehead, mouth), a few sporadic breakouts due to hormone changes as well as being chronically dry. The chronically dry and middle aged reasons being my main motivation for purchase.First the Pros: It comes in a cute little bottle. It's a pretty tiny bottle so I was worried it wasn't going to last, but even after some days of liberally slathering it on, it still has lasted. There seems to be excellent, personal customer service. They follow up with an email and while I didn't reach out, I see that others have had good experiences when they had a question or issue. The company seems very proactive, before I received the product I received instructions via email as well advising me on how to use it. It seems to be pretty much all natural (natural being a subjective term since the FDA does not actually have any regulations on that term).The Cons: After using it for about a month and half, I'd say it does do *something* for my skin but only in the way of helping extend the moisture levels of my lotion that I use after. It's very subtle though and not enough to wow me into purchasing a second bottle. Do I notice any brightening, smoothing or less wrinkles? Nope. Not even a subtle change and trust me I searched! The fine lines my mid thirties has gifted me are still there just as much as before. I have a few spots (freckle-y type things) and no change to any pigment either, not that I really expected much change there. The overall appearance of my skin appears unchanged. Maybe it's just me, or I don't really have enough issues to really benefit? Or maybe it really has to be used in conjunction with their other products, I don't know. Plenty of others have reported great results, I just am not one that found it worth the cost of continuing to keep it in my beauty routine.

I've used other Vit C serums but none of them even come close to this one. From the first use on I've seen nothing but improvement in my skin tone and texture. For context, I experienced horrible adult acne beginning at age 28 (never really had acne as a teen or young adult before that). I'm 37 now and I mostly have my outbreaks under control (FINALLY!) but that experience left my skin with light scars, lots of discoloration and I also feel like it just aged the appearance of my skin A LOT (dull). This Vit C serum has changed all of that! I'm almost finished with my first bottle (just bought my second) and my skin looks more radiant than it has in years! The discoloration on my cheeks and the melasma on the bridge of my nose and upper lip is so much lighter!! My skin is smoother and it looks more hydrated (I still use the same moisturizer as before but it seems to absorb better when I use this Vit C serum). I read some reviews that it was a bit drying, so I use it as the last step in my skin care routine: cleanse + toner + benzoyl peroxide + moisturizer w/spf 25 + Vit C serum. I have oily skin, and not only does this serum improve the absorbtion of my moisturizer, it helps control oil and keep my skin more matte. I completely stopped wearing foundation, now I just use some finishing powder and a little blush and I'm good to go. It's amazing! I feel like I finally have my skin back!! I'll buy this product forever :)

I waited a while to review this because I figured it would take some time to be able to see improvements in my skin and I wanted to be able to tell if it was really working or not. I waited several months and the verdict is I love it! I was having a hard time deciding if it had evened out my skin tone and helped with spots since I look at my skin everyday, but finally, after about 2 months of use (once a day at night after cleansing my face) I was just looking in the mirror with no makeup on and noticed how nice my skin looked, brighter, skin tone was more even, AND less broken out.This formula is very liquidy and easy to spread around the face and neck, it does not have a strong scent whatever scent there is, is a pleasant one and very faint and short lived. It dries on the skin pretty quickly and I noticed right off the bat that I would need to use a moisturizer after it has soaked into the skin because if you don't it is drying. But I'm totally ok with that because I am used to moisturizing anyway. I sometimes use the LilyAna Retinol moisturizer or Cetaphil lotion, something really mild.If you don't notice an overnight change with this, hang in there, for me I wouldn't expect something to transform my skin overnight, I think it takes some time. I have oily, breakout prone, sensitive skin, and now that I am almost 30 I want something that will help with my acne but also help keep my skin looking youthful and help with the overall tone and wrinkles and that kind of stuff and I really like this serum and I will continue to use it.I also like that LilyAna seems to have great customer service looking at other reviews.

Have used this vitamin C serum for years. I mix a few drops of the serum with a drop or two of frankincense essential oil and use it on my face, neck and decollete. Very pleased with my skin appearance and softness. Highly recommend.

wow. next delivery?! thats almost unheard of in my remote mountain town. amazing!used it 3 times since receiving, and will continue to, daily. i felt a nice subtle 'tightening' of skin. little warm tingle. so far so good.it is a little more of a goopy texture.i wish it were in the pumpy like the retinol product, as the dropper itself just gets goopy, and the squeezey effect of the dropper isnt really needed. not an issue, but in terms of practicality i find the dropper isnt really the best format for application.will buy again if my experience continues to be positive :) i will definitely be repurchasing the retinol product-- its fantastic! very happy with this brand so far

Seems to be a good product. Makes my skin look nice and fresh :)

Very gentle on my sensitive skin I used in my pragency as well on my face to control pigmentation it really helped.

This product is good but it oxidized very shortly.
