A couple of tips for prospective buyers
First off, if you have carpet you'll want to install the (included) tipping restraint(s). It comes with two.If you have a tile or wood floor, you should have no tipping worries UNLESS your tile or wood is uneven, causing the unit to "rock."The unit's various wood panels had several bare spots from rough handling, but nothing a little black paint couldn't fix.The one thing I really dislike about this piece is that it has no back, so when I ordered the wall unit I also ordered a black twin size bedsheet and stapled it to the back, leaving the bottom hanging loose for easy cord accessibility. After stapling I used a new razor blade to trim the "long" end. One easy zip.The sheet's bottom length leaves a lot of wiggle room since the back is closed off at the bottom 6" of the wings and the bottom 18" of the TV opening.Trust me, it looks great, like it has a real back to it!Another minor complaint is the height of the TV opening. There's a 9-1/2" gap above the TV, meaning I'll probably make another shelf to fill it.And for anyone wondering, I installed a 43" Roku which left more than 2-1/2" free space on either side, so you can fit a bigger TV than 43".

Seems sturdy
The color of the unit is more espresso, not cinnamon as described, very dark. I do wish it was a bit lighter and warmer colored. The opening for the tv is large and centered kind of low. I have ordered a riser for that shelf which should solve the problem. It was a lot of work to put together for me. I am female, 61 years old and have arthitis and other ailments but I DID IT! The directions were pretty good up to a point. It gets a bit confusing on the bottom. A few more words and diagrams describing what to do would be helpful. The top parts go together first. In order to attach the bottom parts I had to stand it on its head because I can't crawl around on the floor. Once it was all together I had to get it upright which was a problem because of the weight of the unit but on the second try I managed to flip it onto its side and then flip it upright. I assembled it on carpet but had to move it to the next room which has a wood floor. So it wouldn't scratch the floor before I flipped the unit I applied thick felt adhesive pads to the key bottom pieces. This made it possible to push the unit across the wood floor to where I needed it.The directions say not to use power tools. I think because this is all particle board. I used a Phillips screwdriver with a rubber grip and ended up with a blister on the palm of my hand. I suggest using a ratcheting screwdriver if you can. It took a long time to assemble for me. About eight hours.

Sturdy, heavy, great color, would buy again!
I got this entertainment center after hours and hours of searching for the perfect one for my first apartment. It took me 6 hours to assemble it myself (probably mostly because I didn't have the right size screwdriver, so make sure you have a few!), and is as sturdy as I would expect for flat-pack particle board furniture, which is to say it won't be passed on to my future grandchildren, but it'll do me for years to come! All of the outer shelves are adjustable in height, but none of the others are. The shelves in the front of the unit jut out about 3 inches, but all not incredibly deep. The PS4 in the photo is pushed as back as possible, so it fits, but not generously. The back of the shelves are empty, as is the back of the TV area, so I tacked some fabric to the back, leaving it loose at the bottom for cables. The color is called "cinnamon cherry"but for all intents and purposes, appears black. You can see the grain in the light and it gives it a sort of classy look as opposed to the solid matte black finish of ye olde 90s furniture with the glass doors and magnet closures.Overall, I have nothing to really complain about. It's very heavy and pretty solid, not wiggly. The color is pretty much spot on to the photos. However, it did take two weeks to get to me and I needed a handtruck/dolly to wheel it up to my apartment, so keep that in mind! It's incredibly heavy. The box is like 3'x2'x1' and packed nicely.I absolutely recommend this piece.

Decent Piece of Furniture
I bought this to use with a Display model Samsung 40 Inch 4K HDTV, cause my old Sauder Ent center wouldn't fit, with a few tweaks here & there, I was able to make it work. I wasn't keen on the top part being open, so I contacted Sauder & got another TV shelf piece & I needed 4 more side shelves & they were able to accommodate me as well. In some of the reviews I have read, people mention an issue with "Tipping", well I resolved that by adding 2 2x4 pieces in the front & a front piece from an old Sauder dresser that somebody had tossed out @ my apt unit. I can attest that my unit is quite stable. I wound up in getting a TV stand & a monitor riser as well & there's still room in the TV area for a 2nd shelf & I'm seriously considering calling up Sauder & getting a 2 shelf piece from them. Overall, I'm very pleased with how it came out, even with my "Tweaks". I also put on a back piece made of Pluon & stained it to match, cause I disliked the openness of the unit in the back.

Good Basic unit
Great basic entertainment unit. Small side shelves were not very stable, they stop in the pegs quite a it, but this was easily fixed with some double sided tape.
