I bought two packs each of the dark green and plum twist rollers because I knew I’d need more than one pack’s worth of rollers for my hair, as it is past my shoulders. I am admittedly bad at styling my hair, and whenever I use a curling iron, my curls never seem to hold for very long. These twist rollers are nearly idiot-proof. There is a learning curve when it comes to finding the best placement for them, but the results speak for themselves. I wash my hair at night, throw it in a turbi-towel for 30-45 mins, and apply some heat protectant before I blow dry for a few mins. You want your hair to be a little damp. I am a side sleeper, but on each side of my head, I use a rollers above my ears about an inch from my hairline (like where “Mickey” ears would be), and another above and behind my ears. For the back of my head, I roll the remaining hair on the top of my head. I did buy a silk hair bonnet to wear on top at night to lessen the frizz (as I tend to move in my sleep). In the morning, I get dressed and do my makeup before removing everything and it looks fabulous! I gently rake and separate the curls, lightly spritz some hairspray, and I am good to go! My curls last all day and look like a million bucks.

When faced with the daunting task of replacing a 15" drain tube in a boat, one asks themselves, "How the heck am I going to coat the inside of this opening with sealant?"Did a little poking around Amazon and I found these wonderful hair rollers that were just the right size to get the job done. It wasn't pretty, as I coated the hair roller in tan-colored sealant and then repeatedly inserted the roller into the boat to generously coat the insides of the hole with sealant, but hey, I'll be darned if it didn't get the job done!There's a use for everything, and it turns out that these hair rollers are good for more than just one thing. I can't say much for how they do with hair, but I can say, if they can handle the abuse that I put them through to get the inside of a hole in a boat coated with sealant, they should hold up just fine for hair!Great product, highly recommended, no matter what you need them for!

They here way to big for me, they were made well but made for long hair

I used these on my sister in law first so has a lions mane of natural curls but wanted a loose curl look for her wedding. All 8 were used because she had so much hair. Be careful how wet the hair is when you put them in because it will take a long time to dry if the hair is too saturated. I used them on myself next and only used 6 because I have less hair and it still worked out great. A little awkward to sleep in, but this did not cause any unraveling.

These work just as advertised, quality is in line with the price. Not the greatest, but not falling apart either. They do the job and my hair looks great when I wake up. But oh boy do these stink! They just smell like rubber and smog mixed together. It does make your hair smell bad too.... trying to wash them now.

I love using them and have not been finding them locally for a while. I have fairly thick hard that goes down to mid shoulder. I put my hair up in a loose ponytail using a stretchy cloth type of hair tie. I divide my hair into 3 sections, dampen withwater and roll each section up. The result is large soft curls that I get lots of compliments on. I have gorgeous hair, when it is styled. I have long curly/wavy hair that does not have a pretty curl pattern — usually dries frizzy with some curls and some waves and does not look very nice. My usual routine was to let it air dry and then use a curling iron to tame it. Now I let it air dry to about 50-75% dry, then use these rods to dry to 90% then take them out and I have to say my hair looks soooo good. Zero heat. More natural-looking than taking the curling iron to it. Took some time to figure out how to use them properly so there is a learning curve there but very very worth it. Although these are comfortable when you have them in, I did not find them comfortable enough to sleep in.
