Another Solid IronMind Product
Purchase Date: Jan 2013It is such a shame that a product this good only has 3 of 5 stars. IronMind knows their strength and grip products, just drop by their website to see for yourself. I've owned a pair of their Strong-Enough straps for about 2-years and they have been great and reliable. The Short & Sweet straps are made of the same material as their Strong-Enough but don't have a sewn loop. It is essentially an 18in long strap. If you want the same quick-release formula with the same feel as an old school Oly strap but WITH a loop try picking up their Sew-Easy straps or check out MuscleDriverUSA's straps. All told they work perfectly, as advertised. I've tried some heavy pulls with these but I primarily use them for the snatch (as well as high-pull on occasion).

Shorter than short
These are almost amazing, I love the brand and quality but are literally an inch shorter than they need to be. I'm 6"3 and do have large wrists so I can imagine for someone slightly smaller they would be perfect but for me they are unusable

The reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is when you finally are able to get them on correctly--and it's a frustrating
These are far too short. And I understand it's in the name, but another two inches would make these straps so much easier to put on. If you're looking to get a pair of straps, you should go with the sew-easy version of these, where the ends are sewn together. The reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is when you finally are able to get them on correctly--and it's a frustrating attemp--they work just fine. It's just that when you're psyched and ready to do some heavy deadlifting, taking a minute or two to get these on can be deflating. And I know how to put them on--there's even a YouTube tutorial. It's just too damn short.

A little too short
Quality-wise they are fine, but I think you really need to have some experience with shorter straps first. Is it usable? Sure, once you get used to it. Is it comfortable? No, not really... another inch or two would have been nice.

Love These Straps!
I'm an avid oly lifter and these straps work great for doing high pulls after going through a tough workout of "demon doubles". I like that they are short and there isn't a a bunch of extra material hanging off when they are wrapped around the bar. Great product.

Too Short!
I now regret ordering these because they are too short, IronMind should have made them at least two inches longer. They hardly wrap around a standard olympic bar one time! I am 6'4, 200lbs, and my wrists are not much larger than the averages mans, if at all!

Best straps for weightlifting.
These are the best straps for weightlifting. There is a learning curve but once you figure it out your lifting ascends to a new level.

Way too short - not even sure they're wrist straps.
Way too short - not even sure they're wrist straps. I couldn't use them even once, and I'm not particularly big. Maybe they would work on skinny standard bars, but they definitely don't fit on Olympic bars.
