Die wunderschöne Gestaltung und Verarbeitung des Spiels ist ein großer Pluspunkt, ohne Zweifel. Das Spiel selbst ist allerdings das eigentliche Highlight, es ist leicht zu erlernen, aber schwierig zu meistern. So kann es ohne Weiteres auch an Neulinge herangeführt werden. Die vielen unterschiedlichen Möglichkeiten Punkte zu sammeln und die inhärente Variation im Spiel selbst bieten einen unschlagbaren Wiederspielwert. Everdell wird uns noch sehr lange Spielspaß bereiten und die Optionen von Erweiterungen machen das Spiel zu einem lebenslangen Begleiter. Der Unterschied dieser Version zur normalen Version ist den Aufpreis definitiv wert, denn außer den besseren Spielmaterialien machen die zusätzlichen Karten das Spiel auf jeden Fall interessanter und anspruchsvoller. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

I have been playing a variety of board games in the past few years and expanding my collection. Out of the many games that I have played, this has moved to one of my top recommendations for families who are just getting into board games. We have a family of 4 with a 16 and 12 year old boys. The 12 year old won. It is one of the simplest game to teach amongst more complex games. My son does not like to read to I have used board games to develop analytical skills. It is working. The game is beautiful, the components are really nice, especially in the limited edition (I have series preference for metal money so it was not an option for me). I highly recommend this game.
