Its Plastic. therefore, thread doesn't last long. Grip is ok. You can carry up to 10 kg. I got it for under 200rs, for the price its good. Rubber weights fit on this.

Initially I was aftraid to buy a PVC dumbbell rod due to the quality. But this rod is perfect to hold 3kg plates on each side without any issue. Need to tighten the screws between the sets but that is acceptable and this can be even required in the metal rods. I hope it can hold 5kg on each side without any issues. At this price range, I recommend this product for beginners who is handling lower weight
