The cups are pretty, but the ceramic conducts heat way too quickly. They become impossible to handle once anything even remotely hot is poured in, even by the rim. That conductivity means they cool down fairly quickly, too.

These cups look amazing. They are perfect for green teas brewed at a cooler temp. Not too hot to hold yet helps retain heat for the full serving. And they are so beautiful (worth repeating). I bought these for a gift and also received a different design as a present. My family is very happy with these purchases.
