how did I live before I got mine?
pros:light to carry - no weight added to the bedvery good fit into the frame - no squeak.It saved us several THOUSAND dollars since it saved our mattress which got destroyed by the official foundations (which were HORRIBLE - major valleys and a hard-as-rock bar in the middle of the bed. Poor design - but there weren't any other choice).No squeak. Did I mention NO NOISE? you can have 5 boys jumping on the bed - still no noise, no hitting, squeaking, hissing.No bending. No humps. No lumps. No valley or mountain.I was worried about the strength of the item since my kids have destroyed several sets of bunkbed slates. Still holding strong, and it's trivial to fix should something happen.cons:assembly requires two persons to align the pieces. A rainy day would help (as opposed to the summer dryness).Don't expect perfect holes like the swedish furniture. Still, the hardware is very good and very strong.wood is somewhat rough - but the cover is just fine.it's unfortunately not a set of european slates (we are doomed, I can't find any in the States). But it works nearly as well.Conclusion. It should not be seen as a replacement choice - but as a first choice when upgrading to Cal King size. It'll save your existing mattress - or double the lifespan of your new mattress.

The great bed frame
I got a cal king size and it arrives quickly. I need to open it first and carry to upstair in 2-3 times. It's easy to install and works very well.I like this purchase
