The turtle is adorable, but it is not made of stone. It is a hollow stone looking plaster-like material. It will break if dropped. The turtle is about the size of my hand. The set does come with weatherproof paint: Please note: The weatherproof paint does stain. You will want to supervise, protect your work area and adhere to the recommended ages of 8 and up. We protected our counter with cardboard. To do it again, I would have them make them outside. We don't have them outside. The are an indoor decoration for now. We sprayed them with a clear acrylic finish. I will update with pics when they dry! Great price point and the kids had fun.

Really cute little frog, but the whole paint set was dried out. Luckily we had other paints on hand.

My six year old will love painting this. She loves owls and painting. Made of resin and comes with paint and a brush. Bright colors. Great gift.

We bought 2 for our 5 year old for Christmas. He was super excited to paint them but the paint was completely dried in both boxes. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any extra paint at home for him to use. Now, I have to go out and buy paint. I guess its 50/50 on whether you get good paint or not, but I would not buy again due to the hassle.

My granddaughter enjoyed this craft and loves frogs.

This is a gift from my 4 year old to her grandma and just a fun activity for her to do. We opened it this morning and all the paints were dried out. I received yesterday. We have paints to use but still frustrating.

Bought this as a father’s day craft for the kids and they had a lot of fun painting. The paint had dried out and was unusable, but that wasn’t a big deal because I was planning on using washable paint anyways.

I should have listened to the reviews. The paints provided are dry so no painted owl. Such a dissapointment.

All the paints were completely dried out and even had they been useable, there was very little in there, we all know those little containers don't home much to begin with, I would be surprised if they were a quarter full of paint to begin with. Still a solid little "rock" owl, recommend buying your own paint.

I opened this immediately after delivery to paint with my son. The paint was gooey and one of the colours (white) was totally dried out, unable to use. I mixed some of the pain with water to use, but for the price, all of the paint should be in good condition and none of it was!

The kids loved these! I bought them as Christmas gifts for ages 5-8 and all enjoyed them.I’d recommend adding a few cheap paint brushes for an easy transition between the colours for the kids. The splashing, discoloured rinse water dish was just a mess.
