So I took a chance on these because the only reviews when I bought them were from folks who got them free, but I figured they were low cost and had a coupon, so let's do it!Very glad I did. I love oil based colored pencils and these are of higher quality - they lay down smoothly, layer and blend well with themselves and other brands of pencils. Of course, I don't expect them to be lightfast but for sketchbooks, coloring, doodling, these will work just fine.My only complaint is that there are no color numbers on the pencils and since some of the leads on the darker pencils look very similar I had to label the pencils with a sharpie so I don't accidentally grab the wrong one.Overall, I recommend these and if the manufacturer had a larger set I would buy them.

These are quality pencils. But they have one big flaw. None of the pencils are marked in any way. No numbers or colors written on the pencils themselves. So every time you use them you have to test them out to be sure you've got the right color. Which is an unfortunate nuisance. I hope this company will at least put numbers on the pencils.

I realized after using the flesh color, I need not press down hard. Will have fun coloring with these pencils.

Great coverage. Lay down nicely, and feel like more high end pencils. Very happy with the purchase.

I feel like I didn't get the variety that I expected. 3 of the brown tones are all the same. There was a pinky/peach color, but no variety of lighter to medium tones. I wonder if I received a Monday morning special and didn't get a set with all of the correct colors? I am disappointed with color range I received, but did like the quality for the price, of the pencil; nice and smooth.

I do a lot of portraits when I do artwork. Having a lot of colors of colored pencils to do portraits is helpful to me. I tend to be pretty picky when it comes to color.COLORSThe colors in this are perfect. If they had added a steel blue (eyes) this would be perfect.TEXTUREThese pencils are pretty nice and smooth.
