What is the mapping between the RJ45 pins/wires and the stereo contacts?

I'm not sure of the mapping pins.

anyone know what the pinouts for these? for example, is blue/white Tip? and White/blue Ring? thanks.

Mine are both black ring. They do work great! I’m using a cat 5 cable with these going from a projector to a sound bar 20ft away

Will this transmit an ir signal? if i connect and 3.5mm ir extender on one end and plug the other end into the 3.5mm ir out on my receiver?

I haven’t tried to send IR over the connectors, but theoretically it should work. It uses pins 1,2, 3, and 5 on the RJ-45 connector. Just FYI.
