Great value, good trekking poles.
Edit still amazing. See below for update. Decided against buying an expensive pair of carbon fiber poles, and, after mostly positive reviews, figured I'd take a chance on these. Worst case, I'd be out 30 bucks or so. Well, turned out to be best case.. The thumb screws let's you lock down the adjustments, so they don't slide. The cork grip is very comfortable (I prefer cork) and the lower grip works great when you need it. I'm 6'2", so I have them pretty well extended. This last hike I went up (and back down) about 1000 feet of vertical averaging around 35 degree slope... On loose rock. Couple moments I put my weight in these (177) and they held strong. Comes with a variety of tips if needed, which is great. My only "issue" which happens for me and trekking poles, is when they are extended, and I'm going at a faster pace, they have a lot of vibration. But almost all aluminum poles have that to a degree. It's certainly not annoying or something I'd pay three times the money to get rid of. If you know how to use trekking poles, these will serve you well. If you're learning.. They're a good set to start.. So if you do plant at a bad angle, you won't worry about bending them. (also, with aluminum poles, you can heat and bend back as long as they are not crimped) For the money, I'm more than satisfied. Update: so, I've used these for about 50 miles or so, in steep, uneven terrain. They are solid. No damage, bends, or problems. Today I put all my weight on one as I slipped off balance over a large obstacle. Did exactly what they were supposed to do. I'm sold! Glad I didn't pay 139 for a different pair... These are great!

Good Value, Sturdy Poles
Just returned home from the Smokies where I used these poles for 2 days of light hiking. I am not in good hiking shape; bad knees and out of shape, so these poles were a life saver! They were both easy to tighten and did not collapse like some others I have used. I used the rubber tips and had no trouble climbing over rocks and through streams. They come with various tips, including a spike which would be helpful when wading. Would recommend these poles for a casual hiker looking for price-friendly poles.

Good Quality
Cheap enough that you're not worried about losing them, yet quality enough that they work great. I can put my weight on them in the downhill. They adjust for a range of people. My friend used mine and bought some. Not the lightest

Perfect for Icy Hiking Conditions
We hiked in the Rocky Mountains, and the AllTrails app warned that parts of the trail were icy and slippery. While I’m an experienced hiker, hiking on ice and snow was new to me, so I purchased these trekking poles based on the great reviews and affordable price. I’m so glad we brought them! Combined with our traction spikes, they gave us the stability and confidence we needed to safely cross the icy sections of the trail. I also loved that they collapse down small enough to fit in our backpacks and extend quickly when needed. Another great feature is the interchangeable tips, which let you adjust the poles for different types of terrain. They even come with a convenient storage bag to keep everything organized. Overall, these were a great purchase, and I wouldn’t hesitate to take them on future hikes.

Great poles at a good price
I'd never used hiking poles before, but I thought that I'd give some a try. I was hiking up a ridge and these poles made it a lot easier to navigate the rocks and large logs. I like the fact that they are telescoping, not folding. They were easy to adjust and hold in place with the clips and thumbscrews. I didn't use any of the accessories this time, but they're nice to have. It's also nice to have a fabric carrying case.

They were GREAT!
Let me tell you... the fact these treking poles were $30 they surpassed my expectations and performed excellent. My fiance and I took them on our 33.5 mile hike into the wind river range in Wyoming. They held up amazing and made our hike so much better with our 45 pound packs. I highly recommend these and I am so glad we had them!

Excellent price excellent product
My daughter had bought these trekking poles for me about 2 1/2 years ago for Father’s Day as a more sturdy, walking aid for me. We live in a lake community that has no walking pads or sidewalks and some pretty deep ditches, as well as wild critters. So it was something that I could feel my way around with as well as Finnoff attack if that were ever needed which very luckily has never happened. So in the last 2 1/2 years I have used at least one of these every day for my, 5 mile walk and during that walk I have approximately 120 feet of elevation change, which sometimes I may need to lock in the four-wheel-drive, and use the trek and pole to go uphill the last part of the trip to the house. These things are sturdy for being as light as they are. It’s a very nice pole. I had listen to some of the reviews about people bending them, but I haven’t had that problem at all. I am 6 foot three about 230 and these poles have done their job lugging my big butt up the hill. I use the rubber feet on the bottom, and with daily use. They seem to have held up extremely well over the years. We had some pretty funky weather last year with snow and ice and decided to try to get out in traverse my walking path with them and switch to the snow end and worked like a charm. I have to say for the price it’s really hard to pass these things up and as long as you’re not using it to try to chop down a tree or is a fencing weapon this thing should do exactly what you need to do. Very happy with the purchase and as well as they’ve lasted I don’t know if I’ll ever have to replace them but if I do, I will replace them with the exact same thing. so in the end and awesome price an awesome product. And as I always say, please try to read through all the spelling and grammatical errors as speech to text isn’t the best. Have a wonderful day and get out there and walk!

Superb poles for such great price..
The weight is good. It could take me through some very treacherous trails.. boulders and rocks.. The tip didn't slip once while hiking N the resizing clips are bang on.. Used it in my Everest base camp trek and was the best thing for me ever... It supported my entire weight . 65 kg plus 5 to 10 kg of bag . While getting down put all my weight on this

Disappointed
I bought it to hike Fuji Mountain. The locking mechanism on the shaft did not work properly and kept getting loose changing in the lenght of the pole. I had to stop all the time to make it tight. I gave one star because the grip was pretty good and comfortable. I hope I get a refund.

Muy recomendables.
Perfectos. Totalmente recomendables.
