It is a very comfortable and effective knife
I bought this knife because I was curious about ceramic knives. It is a very comfortable and effective knife. It is very sharp and comfortable to use and cleans easily. Sticky foods like cheese release a bit easier than my my metal knives. I cuts cleanly. I haven't tried to sharpen it yet and will have to buy another sharpener to do so.I have noticed that I tend to look for it when the blade is the right one for the task at hand.

Nice knife, not a good size
Cuts fine, but this is a clumsy size. Too large for paring (holding in your hand) and too small for chopping unless you're doing chives or something small.

A Good Knife at a Great Price
I consider this knife an excellent value but only decent at cutting. It's fine on onions, peaches and the like but not quite sharp enough for the ultimate test...ripe tomatoes. It's ceramic so I can't hone it to get that last bit of sharpness I can encourage from a high quality metal knife.Two weeks later: My original review was based on my first impressions with the Abundant Chef knife. But now that I've had it a couple of weeks I find that I gravitate toward it to cut pretty much all my fruits and vegetables...except the tomatoes. I also upgraded my rating from three to four stars. As I said in my initial comments, the knife is an exceptional value and I was being unfair expecting it to be as well balanced and to cut as well at a $100 forged steel knife.

Do not purchase this!
First off, this comes in unfriendly wrap and you need a knife to open it with. I nicked my hand on it in the process of getting it out of the package. It does not include a sleeve to store the blade in, making it dangerous in any drawer.The handle is wide and thick – better for a man's hand then a woman's. I used it to open a cardboard box with, and a tip cracked! It is so thin that it is extremely delicate. The instructions say not to cut on a glass or hard surface, only a cutting board or the knife will be damaged. No kidding! This is going back to Amazon.

When I received it it was broke I sent it back

Good knife
The knife is sharp and clean and its handle seems sturdy and well made.

also it is easy enough to clean
It's ok, though wasn't very sharp at all. Been using it to cut tomato and onion mainly on a plastic cutting board. It does ok with it, also it is easy enough to clean.Just wish it was sharper, because right now it sort of feels foreverdull.
