The hedge trimmer is heavier than I would like it to be, but workable. In order to get the right height you have to assemble extensions. My old electric pole chainsaw you just unscrewed the attachment and raise and lower to the height that you needed which to me was easier. The pole assembly is well made and not flimsy. It should last I hope.

**Q: How long would the battery last until you would have to buy a new one?**
A: I bought spar 40V batteries and alternate their use.  I use 2AH and 4AH batteries for pole saw, pole trimmer, leaf blower and 16" chainsaw.  I also have a 21" mower with two 6AH batteries.  I always have one of each battery on charge, but never ran out of power on a job.  Already starting the second season, trimming trees and shrubs.

I was impressed with the quality of this product. The chainsaw is well made and very sturdy. The hedge trimmer is heavier than I would like it to be, but workable.
