Rite in the Rain Weatherproof Black 1.3mm Lead Refill (No. 13BR)

this is one of the most outstanding pencil lead products I have ever had the pleasure of working with. smooth, very dark leads, excellent shading capacity, comparable to a 6b or 8B pencil. Does not break easily despite the softness of the lead, and I think its a 1.3 mm mechanical pencil pet peeve of mine that they've solved with a lot of grace. I have other pencils from them and I've been buying the 1.3 refills for, gosh, maybe six or seven months now. Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend to any skill level, I know they're expensive but they're worth it.

Rite in the rain is a good brand. Love there pencils.

The lead is robust, yet soft to allow dark lines with less pressure. Smooth writing, while maintaining integrity.

The description said the lead was black, it wasn't, it was a very soft graphite.

Writes better than other leads the same size, softer so it lays down a better line. Very difficult to accidentally break! Wears down a little faster than other leads this size, very much worth it for writing in tough conditions! Use mine in the kitchen all the time, can handle grease, oil, flour, batter, what have you on your notebook.

Love this rite-in-rain lead refills for the rite-in-rain pencil. It is extra thick and doesn’t break. Love the weight lead and since it doesn’t break it is well worth the money. Love the packaging of the lead too. Easy to get out without losing any.

good sturdy container , leads are all in one piece and not all broken . writes good with the pencil

Mechanical pencil I have ever owned/used.

This pencil and this lead are great. It does take some time to get use to the size of the lead, but it does not break under pressure. I will admit the biggest hurdle to get over is not having a sharp point due to the size of the lead

Just average hb 1.3 lead expensif for nothing
