Best pencil for a carpenter. Period. Make sure to also purchase lead refills.

Rite-in-the-rain Pencil leads sure are ok pencil leads
Hey, it’s pencil lead. I like the pencil, the lead writes well, it’s not too soft and doesn’t break, might better be a bit darker. I haven’t used an entire lead in a while so it lasts. I’m sure they’ll ask for a review of the erasers. They erase ok,,don’t tear paper or leave marks.

Writes well in all conditions, smooth and robust
Writes better than other leads the same size, softer so it lays down a better line. Very difficult to accidentally break! Wears down a little faster than other leads this size, very much worth it for writing in tough conditions! Use mine in the kitchen all the time, can handle grease, oil, flour, batter, what have you on your notebook.

Works but expensive
It work’s good doesn’t break to easy. Using it on some rough cut boards and would use up pretty quickly but any lead would. I think I’ll take a chance and try the cheaper stuff next time.
