Great design, many hours of fun
I've tried multiple piececool puzzles before, but this one was my favorite one of them. It has a very nice packaging, and the instructions are in a nice little book instead of the usual piece of paper. The instructions are clear, but there are some notes in Chinese that you need to translate because they contain important details. There are a lot of details and many hours of fun. I still haven't finished it, but the design so fare looks pretty good, but there are few pieces that are difficult to piece together because of the location of the connections, also when putting together the larger parts, it's a but difficult to keep them steady because the already finished parts are in the way. As for the durability, it's like any othe metal puzzle, bend it too much and it will break, so you should check the instructions well before bending the pieces. You can bend it backwards maybe once without breaking it, but it will still make the corners a bit weak. The size is a bit larger than my previous puzzles, but the package also contains a stand, so it's easy to store.

COOL BUT DIFFICULT
It’s a great and fun kit to build! I would definitely try another! The durability is pretty good but if you bend the metal too much it snaps. Size is pretty small. The design is so pretty! Would recommend jewelry cutters for this! It’s pretty tricky to build! The instructions were easy enough to read!

Fun experience, recommend purchasing piecetool brand pliers/nippers alongside this one
The language of the instructions were in Chinese but the diagrams and images were in common sense. Was fun learning to assemble as this is my first time doing anything like this besides lego/microblocks. The entire project took me a few hours a few times a week for 2 weeks to finish, I took my time with it and it paid off. Once you place the model on the stand it is quite sturdy and maneuverable. I recommend putting it together exactly as the instructions say but when it starts becoming a larger piece just place it on it's back and it becomes easier to assemble until the end when you place it on the stand.

Well designed and thought out. Excellent materials. Huge time sink.
This is much bigger in real life. I bought this a year ago, thinking it was a wooden kit. Turns out it's metal. It went on the list of projects to start. I started it during Christmas break then really starterworking on it in March. It takes time and having experience is a plus. Mostly due to the small and large pieces. The Pic shows 25 hrs of work. More to come. Translate the symbols to help remind you of the action required.

For experienced metal model makers only
I returned this item. The quality was excellent, however parts are extremely small and require manipulative tools specific to this kind of kit. I did purchase the tools, I was told by an engineer that the tools were better for jewellery opposed to the requirements of this kit. I gave it 4 stars, not because it doesn’t deserve 5 stars, but because the description should include information on what tools to buy and that a wearable magnifying lens is required. Don’t know if I will try a less complex kit in the future. I typically build wooden kits. So, my error in terms of a first metal kit to try. If you are experienced building this type of kit, you may already own the tools and magnifying glasses. If so, it should be a fun build .

Challenging but fun!
Although some of the pieces are fragile and can break easily, it was definitely a fun challenge!

Not fun at all.
Terribly small pieces from the beginning. Cannot do with tweezers. Jeweler tools will be required. No replacements for lost parts and itty bitty parts blow away just breathing too close to them. On step 1, and cannot progress over one missing piece, and simply NOT being able to work at this scale. Also, no way you're bending the tabs how they show, had to use glue as pieces do not fit together well. Very disappointed! Not fun at all.

Stunning & Challenging Build
I saw pictures of this and my jaw dropped. It's even more stunning in real life. It has it all -overwhelming details, bright colors, a cool stand, and it's totally different from all the other metal ship models out there! This ship is the entire reason I got into building metal models. Like wow. It's gorgeous! It's a level six build, their most challenging rating and I figured for $79 I couldn't afford to break a bunch of pieces, so I started with some of the Piececool cranes, then did the red palace lantern, then took a deep breath and started on this one. A few tips: 1. There are so many metal sheets, I set them up in the box with paper dividers and labels like file folders, so I could instantly find sheet B then sheet F and so on. 2. Take your time & don't try to work on this if you're tired or frustrated. You'll break a piece and that sucks. 3. A magnifying desk light is your friend especially if your eyesight isn't perfect.

Super detailed kit...
This was my 4th Piececool kit and I thoroughly enjoyed the build experience. You definitely need the PROPER TOOLS and MAGNIFYING GLASSES - I have a "closeup" pair with clip-on magnifying lens that I can quickly and easily flip down. The instructions are CLEAR and EASY TO FOLLOW; however, having said that I would consider NOT following the instructions when you start to add finished assembled pieces to the decks. The bigger pieces have way more tabs than the smaller items so ADD THEM FIRST. It's easier to handle a deck piece without all the little pieces getting in the way. And it really is easier to work from the inside out than the way that Piececool suggests. The finished model is pretty SPECTACULAR. Don't forget a display case - I found mind on Temu.
