Success in the first try
I didn’t know any carving before I got this kit. I am really happy with the outcome. The video and guides were really useful. It also comes with a tool to keep, which is a plus.

Another winner from Beavercraft
I’m very happy with this new carving kit from Beavercraft. This is a complete kit with everything needed to carve 2 cute little wooden teddy bears. The knife in this kit is unique to other kits and may take some getting used to, but it is going to be great for all the detail carving now and in the future. They have thought of everything in this kit including a pencil to trace the pattern. I recommend this kit to beginners and intermediate carvers alike. Great work Beavercraft.

Good Beginner's Knife
The C1 knife is a good beginner's carving knife. The handle is a basic, rectangular shape, but there is enough room in the handle to shape this to your own feel, which I prefer. The blade comes sharp enough to start carving, but I would recommend running this across a strop a few times right out of the box. If you are looking to start your carving hobby, I would suggest this knife before investing in a higher cost blade.

Patience est le maître mot
Malgré la protection pour les doigts, on peut vite se retrouver avec des douleurs aux mains parce que le bois est dur. En revanche, les explications sont très correctes et le matériel fourni est de bonne qualité.
