Sibu Premium Himalayan Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, USDA Organic (30ml) – Amazing for Sensitive Skin, Breakouts, & IrritationUSDA Organic

This is my second bottle of this oil. After adding this Sibu Sea Buckthorn to my previous mixture of essential oils I started to notice significant improvement to my 55 yr old complexion. My skin tone is more even and redness in the corners of my nose, chin and cheeks (which I've had for most of my adult life) is almost gone. I am getting compliments regularly. I sent some to my daughter who has severe acne and for her, after two weeks of use this Sibu Sea Buckthorn -mixed with other essential oils (listed below)- her skin is clear- she has discontinued her heavy duty anti-biotics which were causing other health issues due to the nasty side-effects. I mix with the Sea Buckthorn a variety of other essential oils I purchased on Amazon: Rosehip, Apricot Kernel, Geranium, Carrot Seed, Vitamin C. I couldn't be more pleased with the results I achieved and am now maintaining with daily use of my concoction- and I'm saving money compared to the high end products I was using. I understand that some folks cannot tolerate oil on their face, but for me and the climate (dry, high altitude mountain air) my skin couldn't be happier. I do use this mixture faithfully, frequently twice a day- morning and evening. It's so rare to find something that actually makes a visible difference. I was stopped by a stranger in the post office the other day, another woman on the search for good products. She said my skin "looks beautiful" and asked what I use. I had my hair in a sloppy ponytail and wasn't wearing a lick of makeup- I am sold!

UPDATE: 08/2017 - I am still using this and have also incorporated the sea buckthorn soap. I use it morning and night. The soap seems to have been the addition that has cleared up my rosacea and my skin is awesome. Seems like fine lines are now gone too. I was looking at a selfie and noticed how smooth my skin looks, but below my neck is more wrinkly! I'm now moving the oil mixture to my chest, neck and face twice a day. I only put a few drops in my moisturizer. If it looks like any kind of breakout is thinking about happening, I put a drop on the spot and rub it in. Pretty much gone after that. ALSO works on burns quite well. My sisters kitchen workers had a blowup with flames that burned her girls hands and faces, but, immediately rubbed some oil on it and the burn stopped within seconds and no pain at all the next day. I've also used this for oven burns and same thing. Pain gone in seconds and no burn pain next day either. Love this oil!This is the only thing that has worked for me for rosacea! My skin looks awesome now. I use 4 drops in my oxygen whipped moisturizer every morning and night. Never oily. I thought "oil on my face?" But WOW does this work! Plus I don't eat much of anything with sugar either.

I love this oil, I have symptoms of all four rosacea types. I developed this three years ago and believe it to be contributed to menopause. I have been treated by two dermatologists with numerous prescriptions. Dermatologists can not cure your rosacea, they can clam the symptoms. Very sad I know, but this oil has been a ego booster. It works very well to heal the bumps, redness and pustules. Sometimes over night! I started using this oil twice a day morning and night in Jan. and I also took the Sea Buckthorn Oil pills two per day. Two months later I have a big improvement and now using the oil once per day and haven't taken the pills (because and ran out) for two weeks. I have ordered more pills and will start them again as soon as I get them. This oil absorbs quickly which is wonderful for using in the morning under makeup and at night for not getting on your pillows. I share this with my dermatologist and he said someone else showed him the same oil and had improved skin. He said continue using the oil and pills.

The product quality is not the same as previous purchases. The oil does not feel as moisturizing and the color is more pigmented than previous seed oil from Sibu. My skin reacted to this product and I discontinued use. This was not the case before and I have been using this product for the last couple of years.

Amazing noncomedogenic oil. I have rosacea and this is perfect for moisturizing my skin without causing flares. Absorbs quite quickly.It has a "woody" smell to it, sort of like fresh grape stems or leaves. It is definitely noticeable, not necessarily pleasant though not bad by any means. If you're like me, you'll get used to it after a couple applications and may even grow to like it.
