Used for 1968 Corvette seat springs
My 1968 Corvette seats were worn out, and the old internal springs were rusted and limp or broken. I ordered some new springs from a Corvette parts supplier and got monster springs meant to support King Kong. I measured the old springs in an area that wasn't rusted out, and found them to be the same as these 11 gauge springs, so I ordered them. These are a perfect match! I bent some 1/16th welding rod for the ties between the springs to match the stock setup. A 10 foot roll of these springs will do 16 rows of springs on a C3 Corvette, and each frame has 5 rows (two seats and two backs equals 20 rows).

You do need some equipment to make these useable
I did buy a spring bender to take care of the ends. I already had a bolt cutter to cut them. I should have bought the next size larger in springs as it was a little week for chair seats.

Perfect.
Just what I needed to restore my classic car seat springs.

Misgauged!
I ordered the 11 gauge without checking the gauge on the chair I was repairing and found out this was a lighter gauge than on the original chair, but that is my fault. I installed it anyway and will see how it holds up.

Worked perfectly for replacing some broken springs on a "Rooms To Go' sofa.
Worked perfectly for replacing some broken springs on a "Rooms To Go' sofa. I just measured a working spring, cut this to fit, installed, and everything is back to normal.

Great quality spring materials
Good quality, could have been liked much better with some pointers on bending and shaping the springs for automotive seats.
