I'm a short (5ft 3inch) round (apple shape), busty (36F) UK size 16. This dress was a good length for me, it fell to around the knees, it was slightly large so I didn't feel restricted or self conscious, and the shape was very flattering. I swapped the shirt out for a white lace top - also from Amazon - as this was too big for me. I had a lot of compliments at a local Oktoberfest with one woman stopping me to say it was the nicest dress she'd seen at the event. I popped a 50s style petticoat underneath to give it a bit of body, this also helped me stay warm too! I'd definitely recommend this if you are after a more authentic look and not the shorter style dress.

When reading the reviews I took note of the recommendations and went for a larger size, however, this then meant the garment was too big. For me, the correct size is my normal clothing size. Best to look at your measurements! The garment is well made though, doesn't look cheap compared to other styles I have seen.

I’m really pleased with this outfit- the quality is really good. I’d say that the dress is quite generous in size but the white top is true to size/slightly smaller.

Oktoberfest uniform for event.

I’m so glad I read the reviews before ordering sizes. I’m normally a size 10 but I’ve got a larger bust. I ordered the M and it just about fit! The zipper is on the side so there os no wiggle room (or Velcro straps!). The dress itself is lovely quality and the cotton under shirt is really lovely quality - definitely not ‘dress up’ quality! But I suppose that’s why this outfit is pricier than others. I would definitely size up or order two Suzie’s for comparison if you can.

I used this for a part in a show and it looks great.Really good quality and very comfortable.

Nice outfit but the white shirt didn’t come down over my boobs! Too stingy with the material so it wouldn’t go lower than my armpits. The other bits were nice but let down by the shirt. Probably fine if you’re 5ft 7 or under.

Ich war überrascht, dass das Dirndl doch etwas her macht und der Stoff nicht lumpig ist. Es ist schwierig immer das auf den Bilder zu erkennen. Aber wie gesagt es ist für den Preis und dazu mit Bluse echt top. Hatte ein Hochwertiges Dirndl aus einem Trachtenladen, dass mir leider nicht mehr passt. Wollte aber nicht schon wieder 200€ ausgeben für ein paar mal anziehen. Daher war dieses Dirndl genau richtig. Klar könnte es noch ein bisschen besser sitzen, aber mich hat wenigstens nichts eingeschnürt. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Great quality. Kept it for the non plunging neckline that all the others have on the blouse. Blouse was tight and small but I couldnt go larger as the dress itself was on the big side. i kept a medium (which is what i normally wear) and i'm 5 ft 2 and 140 lbs. i wish the dress cinched at the waist more. Good quality. Wore it to Oktoberfest in Germany. Not the cheap cheesy costume. Fit in perfectly. loved it

This dress feels nice on. The shirt is soft, the satin brocade fabric feels and looks nice, and the dress feels well made. I feel like the price is appropriate for the quality. The medium was too big on me, so I am hoping the small fits. I'm 5'4", and am a solid size 6, and 135-140 lbs. I'd say this would fit a women's 8-10 best.

Nettes Karnevalsdirndl. Billiger Stoff, aber mit Liebe zum Detail designt und ordentlich verarbeitet. Fällt eher klein aus, also besser eine Nummer zu groß kaufen, kann durch die Schnürung in der Oberweite angepasst werden. Die Lieferung kam vier Tage später als angekündigt!
