A Must Read
If you’re planning to/considering/or already living and working abroad, this is a must-read. I wish I’d found it before when I was living abroad. Many of the concepts the author outlines are things I figured out after some very painful trial and error. Get this book! It will save you from the same pain and give you tools and encouragement to press on when things are difficult.

Simply Wow!
Levi wrote as an expat writer who has spent most of his adult life travelling from one country to another.A lot of people relocated to abroad without sufficient preparation only to be disillusioned by the reality of their new home. This book offers tips, strategies and tools to help immigrants or expats count the cost before burning the bridge!5-star!

Disappointing.
An extremely thin book containing a bare handful of poorly written anecdotes. Contains absolutely no informative or even vaguely useful information. Expected much more based on the previous reviews. Disappointed. Returned.

Excellent Research. Great storytelling.
If you are going to be an expat soon, this is THE book to get. Very well researched. Lots of details on how to survive, thrive and still stay connected to homeland. The author's stories are very touching especially his grandma's story. I could relate to the 5 different stages starting from honeymoon to yearning. Especially liked the resources at the end.
