I was wearing a M size and it looked great on me. As my belly got bigger these shirts started to become less flattering. I started working out and lost all my extra weight and started to put on some muscle and the M just did not fit me anymore and had to go up to a L mainly because of the armpit chest area. When I 1st got my large I did not really like how it looked on me, seemed just slightly too big for me, my sleeves were to big, chest area was to big but tight on the armpit, kind of looked strange. HOWEVER, after 1 wash the chest area fitted much better and the sleeves were not big anymore and the armpit area feels like it did not get any tighter.
