The arm can move up and down with ease once you have loosened the gas spring, all you need to do is push slightly at the bottom and it goes up with ease, however to push it down you must push directly on the arm with a slight bit more force but isn’t that much of a problem. It has been holding a 27” monitor and seems perfectly stable. The monitor can also turn 360 degrees so is great if you want your monitor vertical. I have seen some reviews for similar arms saying the joint connecting the arm to the monitor snaps after a few months but so far it has not and I have had it for about 5 months. It doesn’t seem unstable or weak and doesn’t look as if it is going to break soon. There are cable management trays along the arm which are very useful and make my area seem less cluttered and neater. I feel this monitor arm is best for people who will use it in a range of different positions (I use mine standing and sitting down so I need it at different heights) but may not suite people who will mainly keep it stationary as the arm is quite bulky and sometimes is not hidden by the monitor. The bolts do not come with black covers like others, however, and are quite noticeable if the monitor is not covering it. This is only a nitpick but overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it.

Used this on a high solid wooden shelf unit in the corner. Didn’t notice the template straight away but it did come in useful. Instructions clear enough. Attached to a 25” TV. Works great. The wire management part keeps wires out the way. Stable stand that gives flexibility. Brilliant for a small room.

Easy to fit and install. Good product overall. Take some time to configure the positioning when you are hiding an electrical socket behind. Makes the finish that much better

Does what it says with a very big difference between highest and lowest positions. Easy to adjust to get ideal settings for different people. It is a pretty heavy duty bit of kit so take time to ensure it's installed properly. Overall, very pleased.

The gas spring on my unit appears faulty as the arm could not sustain my 27" monitor.It just kept dropping down.I adjusted the gas tension etc but still the same.Update*****The manufacturer/seller sent me a new unit which works perfectly.10/10 customer service.

It’s really good and feels expensive, although it’s a little overpriced

Despite following instructions to reduce the tension on the monitor arm, it is very difficult to keep on desired position, as it kept suddenly going upwards.
