The style, shape, and dimensions of the bottles are NOT as illustrated or described in ad. Additionally, the glass was quite thin. I noticed the weight seemed off when I received the shipment. I was immediately surprised at the weight, and when compared structure of with the grolsch bottles already in possession, it was visually clear how thin the glass is, and not suitable for carbonated drinks despite the description of the product. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, the locking mechanism is cheap and not suitable to keep carbon in the bottle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They are good for water kefir fermentation *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 6 May 2022* They keep the gas in. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely the best swing top bottles I've bought so far! *by on Reviewed in the United States 8 June 2024* Love these bottles! Love their size, the great packaging they arrived in, the ease to use the swing top, their classy classic appearance...just love everything about them. Easy to clean, fits perfectly in my mini fridge, simple yet sleek. My beautiful bubbly lemon yellow Jun kombucha shines in them. The thick syrupy brown molasses water kefir sizzles inside, calling to me to have 'one more'. They are aesthetically stunning! They are thick and solid, with no concerns about possible breakage. I've done 2nd ferments and not a drop seeps over the sealed top. No worries about accidental explosions either. I've tried other bottles that were patterned and was hugely disappointed in both their quality and swing top performance. Some arrived broken...which is not a good sign when it comes to 2nd ferments. I will clearly buy these again as my stock begins to fill up and I need more storage. These are well worth using as gift-worthy containers. A lovely simple red ribbon and bow tied around the neck would complete the elegant treat. Price was additionally reasonable and warranted. I will highly recommend these to my fermenting friends!
