MONVICT Full Size Hot Glue Gun, Dual Temp 60/100W Base Stand

This glue gun works great and is a great value for the money. It seems well made and it is easy to use. It does not leak hot glue all over between uses. I will never go back to a corded glue gun again. Every teacher needs one! It comes in handy when you are hanging things and don't have an outlet nearby. If you are using it to glue things to the wall, cabinets, or white board I recommend that you put a strip of masking tape down first and then glue to the masking tape so that it doesn't damage the surface.

Excellent gun with PTC (Positive Coefficient System) not found in others. With dual temperature and input voltage. Good ergonometric design and base support to have it standing. Solid materials.

Wish I could do no stars. 1st off I've had this glue gun for a few months. But I didn't use it right away. So it stayed in in all its original packaging. When I finally used it...ONE TIME!!! The "holder" is a joke. Its so light the glue gun falls right over so its truly a completely pointless piece of plastic. U can't use it unless u lean it up to something. But even then its such a light pointless plastic u have to use both hands to get the glue gun out of the"stand" so my one time use was sooooooo annoying. Now here i am today. 2nd time use. Hahahaha. Unbelievable. Just when I thought id give it one more try the display when I plug it in says -FU LOL. it's been charging for 2 hours. It will not turn on !!!! Uuuuugggghhhhhhhhhhhhh

I am a very avid crafter & craft instructor for many years & have had MANY glue guns in my day. This is one of my top favorites. The best part is it has virtually no drips when on. One of the features that drew me to this gun was the base stand so it will stand on it's own. The small wire stands on most glue guns are pretty much useless. A couple occasions the stand came off while using but for the most part it's pretty reliable as long as it's on a table/flat surface. I also really like that I can change the temp from a high temp for a durable hold to a lower temp for more delicate needs & when I need to hold items with my fingers. I purchased the white & purple 60/100W, they also have a grey & blue 80/120W, but for everything I've done with it, I have had no problems with the glue holding. I also happen to be a purple fanatic so the color also helped make my decision ;D but I am very happy with this choice!

100% satisfied with this glue gun! I am so pleased with this purchase. I am a crafter, and need a good, dependable glue gun. I have had many in the past, and have even paid 130.00 for one, thinking it would be the best, just to be very disappointed when it failed to work after a short time. This one is very affordable, comes with a supply of good quality glue sticks, finger protectors, a sturdy stand, and has not dripped one bit! It is also ergonomic, which is important to me too because I have issues with arthritis. Another great feature is that you can easily switch out different tips if you like! They even include a built in hex wrench on the stand for doing just that. Very convenient. The tip has a removeable sleeve around it to help protect user from burns. All in all, I can't find anything to dislike about this product, they thought of everything. I would highly recommend this one, and so gave it 5 stars. Thanks Monvict!

Works great

The jury is still out on this product. I have to use a pencil eraser to turn it on. You cannot just use your finger the buttons are very tiny. When using the glue gun on the lower temperature it takes a very long time to get the glue out. So I probably will be using it on the higher temperature which is what I did not want. When I put a new glue stick in for the first time I had a very difficult time getting the glue stick to go through. I had to push it to get it to the point where I could use the trigger. I enjoyed using a cordless glue gun. I used it for several hours and it still has good charge on it. I love the stand that comes with it. I will update as I use this glue gun more. I know I only gave it three stars but that is because of the difficulty turning it on and the glue stick not going through like I thought it should feed through. The price was great and the quality is top-notch. I wouldn't hesitate buying this but just be aware of some of the difficulties that I have had.

I have used glue guns for this particular project before but the glue guns I had were producing a joint that would stay together. I am very pleased with this glue gun's dual temperatures and I find the trigger easy to operate and control the amount of glue I need to use. At first, I used the 100w setting and it was great for how I was using it as a heat tool to soften the plastic so I could bend joints of my little skeleton and then glue them with a tiny dab of glue to hold them in place. I realize this is not how this glue gun was intended to be used, however, it works better than any other options. When I reattached my skeleton's arm in a different position, I found the glue was so hot at 100w it was taking a while to cool, especially with me trying to hold the tiny pieces in place. The 100w (once it set) held a strong bond but I wanted to try the 60w setting. After allowing the gun to cool down for a minute or so, I attached the other arm just as well but with less cooling time which meant less time I had to hold the tiny pieces in place. From then on, I used the lower setting for this particular project and all of my pieces held together well but I found the 100w was more efficient at softening the plastic for repositioning the limbs. I am very pleased with how easy it is to operate, especially on tiny pieces. AND...I am very glad that it did not leak glue even when I set it on its side like I had to do my old glue gun. AND...I love the little finger protectors!

Estaba entre esta y otra de uso más rudo, al final me decidí por esta porque en la otra había reviews de que goteba. Y sinceramente estoy muy contenta con la compra, funciona perfecto, tiene dos temperaturas, la base, muy práctica, y no gotea. Espero que sea durable también, pero por lo pronto, super satisfecha con la compra.

While I love this glue cord for its adjustable temperature setting and the flexibility of having a cordless craft gun, my only real complaint with this gun is the auto-off feature. I understand that this is a safety feature, but it seems to shut itself off after only a minute or so of being idle. I'd like a 5 minute window at least, since it takes a couple minutes to heat it back up again. Other than that - and the fact that I didn't realize when I ordered that it takes standard/large glue sticks instead of the mini ones and I had to order more - I'm happy with my purchase!
