This is a high quality made DC submersible water pump. The motor enclosure is made of aluminum and it can handle up to 90’C momentary or 80’C continuously. Also, it can be submersed in the water as long as the water temperature is under 50’C. It’s built by a brushless motor (BLDC) so that it’s quieter and lasts longer than a brush water pump (BDC). It will not generate an ‘electric spark’ (noise) like a brushed type motor does, so it’s more safe to operate when near a flammable gas. Ideal for CNC Spindle motor cooling or solar heater. It can be used to pump oil as well (gasoline OK). Other applications: Solar heater, CO2 laser cooling, Indoor/Outdoor water fountain, and other water circulation system. I recommend them highly
I use these pumps for a special use. Flow and pressure are modulated continuously under microprocessor control. the pumps are quiet, reliable and work well with low power consumption. The fluids I use have a pH of 7, so there is no chemical reaction. I recommend them highly.

Bad product and no customer service - DO NOT BUY !!!
Bought this pump in order to transfer fuel from a 15 gallon tank to my ATV and Motorcycle while on the road. I used it only 5 - 6 times and it stopped working. It was advertised as "Heavy Duty" and the seller claimed he ran the pump for 14 months non-stop... For me it did not work more than 1/2 hour total (if that). On top of that, when it did work, it was leaking fuel all over. Initially the seller offered a solution to try and fix the pump by spraying it with WD40. You can not place contaminants on the fuel line and definitely can not connect and disconnect the fuel lines after each use of the pump. He also said that if the WD40 will not work, he will replace it. Looks like he changed his mind so now I am stuck with a defective product. The few times it worked, it did a good job, indeed pumping about 2.5 gal/min thus filling a 10 gal tank in just about 4 minutes. But considering the max useful life of only 1/2 hour, this is definitely a product I WOULD NOT recommend. Maybe other people will have better luck but if you are willing to throw away your $50 dollars, find something better...
