Thin but best at cutting, can be sharpened, and have been durable so far
Update: I decided to keep these and boy am I glad I did. These cut better than all the other steak knives I own. Not that I own very expensive ones, but still, they are very good. They cut everything like butter and the thin tips have not broken or bent to this point (pun intended). They can be sharpened, though I have not had to sharpen them as of yet.Old Review: I was surprised how thin these knives were. It seems the tips will damage very easily. You can flex them easily with your hand. I liked that they had a straight edge, they looked nice and were very sharp, but I could not see them lasting long, as they seem very delicate. I am returning these. I ended up getting the IsheTao Steak Knife Set (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072B81PLD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). While they are serrated, they are thicker, sturdier and have a little more heft to them.I ended up returning the IsheTao as they did not cut as well as these

Sharper is better
We were fed up with the serrated edged knives. They just didn't cut well. The first attempt at cutting into a pork loin with the Umogi steak knife SLICED right through the meat. Almost zero effort on my part. Nice and sharp, good looking finish and style. They should last quite a while. A good value.

Finish is not perfect
My previous steak knives had serrated edges and after 20 years or so I found myself sawing through even the tenderest filet and, of course, they could not be sharpened. These have plain edges that can be sharpened when ever needed. They arrived quite sharp and I haven't had them long enough to see how long they will hold an edge. Curiously, they say not to use them on earthenware, glass or porcelain surfaces which rules out pretty much much every dinner plate in existence. I don't eat steak on paper plates so will just have to ignore that advice.I find the pistol grip handles to be quite comfortable to hold and the blade size appropriate for steaks and chops. I had bought a more expensive set with 5" blades but they were just too big.My only complaint about these so far is some of the handles have small flaws in the finish. They are minor and hard to photograph because of the reflective nature. You may be able to see a small divot right in the center of the bright streak in the attached picture. Given the price, these are minor enough I won't be sending them back but if you want something with a flawless finish look elsewhere. I took one star off for the finish.

Great knife set
The Steak Knives Set is an excellent addition to any kitchen. With sharp, shiny blades and a well-balanced design, these knives have become a daily essential in my kitchen. They fit comfortably in the hand and cut with precision, enhancing the dining experience.I do suggest investing in a knife sharpener to maintain their sharpness over time. However, there's a minor issue to consider - they can develop rust stains on the blade if not properly cared for. Despite this, the quality and performance of these knives are great. I highly recommend this set.

Not very stainless and a little lighter than I expected
I bought these in August, 2023 and initially thought they were OK, but after using them 3 or 4 times in 6 months I have discovered that they are not very stainless. We wash them in the dishwasher, as we do all our knives, and they come out with rust spot on the sharpened edges. I know purists would never put knives in a dishwasher, but none of our other knives, treated the same way, get rust on them. They looked like nice knives but I expected them to be a little heavier. They are pretty light, which may be OK, but they just lack the feel of what I'd expect when picking them up. They are sharp and seem to hold an edge, but the rust is a deal breaker. I guess you get what you pay for..

Everything they claim - but they rust :(
I've had these for over a year now, and found them to be well performing knives for the price; balanced, sharp, sturdy and attractive. Only problem is that they rust when run through the dishwasher (and yes, I use heated dry cycle!). If you wash everything by hand, they're a great value - if you use the dishwasher not so much.

Good quality
Very happy for the price point. Hubby wouldn’t believe non-serrated edge cut thru steak like butter! Just wash and dry so you don’tget rust spots. Stainless doesnt mean it doesnt stain, it means it can be buffed off

Do not hesitate to buy
These are the greatest steak knives. So sharp out of the box, easy to sharpen at home. Dishwasher safe and well balanced in your hand. These feel so light at first but don't be fooled. They are excellent. Have had them for a few months now, hand-washed in the beginning, then dared to run them in the dishwasher. *fingers crossed*They came out beautifully. Sometimes I forget to remove them from the utensil basket so they dry on their own, mostly I try to remove at least these knives and dry with a dish towel to prevent rust. Absolutely no issues so far.Thumbs up!

Super sharp
Love the feel of these knives in your hand. The weight of them is great. So sharp! I love the blade. Have used them 5 times and not disappointed! Not dishwasher safe. We clean them immediately after dinner.

Hermosos para ser verdad
Tal cual lucen en las fotografías así son los cuchillos, lastima que se oxidan.

Great budget steak knives
Great design, works well. Beautiful knife, sharpenable, came well recommended and works well. Hollow and oddly light in the hand.

great alternative to japanese steak knives
I need a set of steak knives, well for cutting steak. Many steak knives seem to be made large to impress, or have serrated edges so that supposedly they cut better. I wanted smooth edge, like a chefs knife, so that when I cut steak, I cut it unlike a serrated knife which tears it and the juices run out. This set is what I was after, smooth, sharp cutting edge. They are hollow handle, so good size to the handle and not too much weight.
