WE HAVE NO FLEAS! How can this be?!? I can't believe it! I read the reviews and I can't understand why some are saying Vet's Best home spray doesn't work. This is great stuff, worth every cent and more. I Frontlined all our pets, which was great, fleas gone on pets, but they were still in the house, in furniture, in carpeting, etc. We were getting itchy ankle bites while we slept. I sprayed everything. Had to get rid of a few rugs because I know fleas are experts at surviving in carpet. I have fought fleas before, years ago, before Frontline existed. I did not win the war. We spent years wasting a lot of money on bombs for every room, shampoos, useless flea collars, everything...for nothing. Then we moved. I know firsthand fleas are tough to get rid of and the key is not to get them. We've always had indoor cats and 1 dog. Since the introduction of Frontline, I always made sure to use that for the dog all spring and summer. But I got so busy this year. I didn't get to it. In the back of my mind I didn't think it was such a big deal. After all we've been flealess all these years. Would it make such a difference if I got to it late, in June instead of April? I was so stupid. Of course the dog got fleas and now 5 cats also had fleas. Thank God Vets Best saved us! This product works! Just make sure you leave no area undone. I dont know if it helped that I sprayed heavily before I read the instructions to just mist. The beds and couches had to dry for an hour or two, I sprayed so much. I sprayed in all the furniture crevices, between mattresses and boxsping, every inch of pet beds, any rug I wasn't getting rid of got saturated twice. Fleas will find safe places to hide. Eliminate the safe places! We noticed the difference almost immediately. The scent was mostly pleasant but very very strong, all windows were opened once we realized how strong the scent. We put the dog outside and the cats in the bathroom for an hour in case the strong smell would effect them adversely. I had several blankets we keep tossed on couches. I washed those blankets in hot water and then kept them folded in a laundry basket in the basement since it's summer and we don't need them on the couches. No pets go in basement by the way. I assumed the hot water killed anything but weeks later I stood near this laundry basket to get something on a shelf and I felt something on my feet. Tiny black dots! Freaking fleas! Either fleas survived the washer or eggs did. I sprayed my feet and the blankets immediately, no issues since. THIS STUFF IS A GODSEND!!! I keep several bottles around the house just in case we see or suspect anything; 1 in the basement, 2 on the main level and 2 upstairs. We also bought a flea product at Home Depot to spread around the yard. It's been a month since, might do that again just in case. Make no mistake, fleas are in this fight to win. Do not underestimate them. Get them everywhere they might be. Save yourself years of fighting them by doing a thorough job of killing them everywhere...on the pet, on the furniture, in the yard. Frontline (or similar product) alone won't do it. This spray alone won't do it. Just a few surviving can repopulate almost overnight! Vet's Best home spray should be part of your arsenal of weaponry in a multi pronged attack. You CAN win this war! 9/23/20 UPDATE: WE STILL HAVE FLEAS!! Because Frontline doesn't work! We have used Frontline several times now and it's not like it used to be. It kills some but not all. We called Frontline and they said we can use it again so I've been re-dosing 1 dog and 5 cats about every 2 weeks, lots of money spent. It's not killing the fleas and they don't open a claim unless you've used it for 3 months. That's 3 months of fleas multiplying!! The Vet's Best home spray though is doing a great job. We spray the dog bed, the front door rug, our beds (when we don't, we get ankle bites) and all fabric furniture (couches, chairs). After this I'm trying Seresto collars. It will cost $300 for 6 pets but I'd give anything to get rid of the fleas once and for all. We also dump salt on all fabric furniture and the one rug. We definitely have them on the run but they are still on our pets. If only the frikin Frontline worked!!!

I'm getting everyone I know to buy it because it's truly amazing. First of all, it doesn't contain pyrethrum, which is toxic to cats because it interferes with their nervous system, causing symptoms ranging from tremors and convulsions to difficulty breathing, salivation, and even death. No one tells you this, but most pest control products unfortunately contain pyrethrum, which is fine with dogs, but can be deadly for cats. This product is based on essential oils. I've been using it for several months because stray cats had brought fleas into the garden, and it works so well not only against fleas but also against other insects... and it smells delicious.

We love this stuff - it smells amazing, is safe for pets, sprays beautifully, and really works…but only for about a week, or until it rains. Sadly can’t afford to keep buying it for how short of a time it lasts. Southern U.S. mosquitoes are getting stronger and stronger…

During the summer months, we had an issue with fleas biting my dog. Even though she is on Simparica Trio, I was still finding fleas on her body, already half-dead. Because of that, I wanted to find a yard treatment that would be safe for pets and not harmful. I can say that it does work. I treated only one part of the yard because my hose wasn’t long enough, but in that treated area there were noticeably fewer insects, mosquitoes, and fleas. I plan to use it again next season, and based on my experience so far, I think it works very well.

Didn’t work as well as I hoped to eliminate fleas

I have had a terrible time this year with fleas. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs and we had a terrible infestation. I used so many products, tried so many different methods and nothing seemed to help. Bathing the dogs daily, and flea collars or tubes of treatment didn't help much at all, they just kept coming nomatter what I did. It was exhausting and disheartening to say the least. At some point, I found and purchased the wipes of the same brand, with the same ingredients, and they seemed to help. Then I ran across this product by accident, in spray form, and figured since the wipes helped, maybe this would too. Much to my amazement, after spraying every piece of furniture, all the carpets, the baseboards, drapes, dog and cat beds, then vacuuming, I haven't seen a flea since. This really works. The fact that it is non-toxic is great too because using it everywhere in the house won't endanger my fur babies, my grandkids or us. If you haven't tried it or are hesitant to, don't think twice!!!!!! purchase it. It is also reasonably priced, a much larger can than expected, and it actually works!!!!! Take it from someone who has battled a very serious threat in my home this year, this is a product that will help. Unlike other products that say "it works", promises results and might be toxic, this one actually gets rid of the fleas and ticks, and other flying insects, and is non-toxic. You definitely want to make sure you bathe your pets during the process or use appropriate flea prevention in conjunction with this product. That way you are taking care of what is on your pet, as well as the environment they live in. The wipes are great too, especially for when your pets come in from the yard. Wipe their legs and feet with them so that you keep things at bay. Thank you so much for making this product available on Amazon. Now I know what to use should any more fleas appear anywhere in my home or on my pets.

This product is excellent for keeping fleas, ticks, and mosquitos away from my yard and home. It is impossible to keep all mosquitos away, but there is a noticeable difference in the mosquito population when I am in the area where the yard is shaded by trees and the ground covered with leaves. My indoor/outdoor cat loved to sit under the trees and watch the birds and squirrels, but we never had fleas or ticks where I had sprayed. I did not use any preventative for fleas and ticks on my pets due to the chemicals in those products. I love the ease of application by attaching the water hose to the container and spraying. There are no dangerous chemicals in the spray and it has a pleasant fragrance as it is sprayed.

This product is a one star. There are no redeeming qualities to this very disappointing insecticide, it seems to invite the insects it is supposed to eliminate. As one who worked in pest control for several years, and a pet owner. I understand how important it is to keep aggressive chemicals to a minimum. I was pleased when I read the ratings for Vet's Best, the product is organic based and it seemed to have everything you'd want to control small insects in your yard. Not related to the performance, but nonetheless important... the product was originally damaged in shipping, it wasn't until I went thru the AI Bot and talked (by way of a chat session) with a live service rep. from Amazon Prime that a replacement was provided. The replacement arrived three days late from when the original delivery date. Regardless, I was willing to overlook the shipping, provided the product lived up to it's thousands of positive ratings, but it did not. I followed the instructions, applied the spray to my entire lawn and garden where we have minor problems with ants and mosquitos. The first day I hoped for a reduction, the second day further reduction, by day three I expected to see no ants, or most importantly, mosquitos. Instead, you could see mosquitos flying everywhere, far more than there had ever been. When I went to feed the cat, ants were literally going into the feed bowls within a few minutes. We are now on day 4 and although there are not as many mosquitos as there were on day three, there are more than when I first used the product. Perhaps they changed their formula from the time when some of the other more favorable reviews were created, but I can say in all honesty, the product did nothing for the ants and mosquitos in my yard.
