All my channels are now clear, plus four new channels!
I purchased the Antennas Direct C5 ClearStream 5 High Gain Digital VHF Antenna after reading great reviews. I duly installed this in my attic, following the procedure outlined in the directions. This began the wasting of 6-months trying to get decent reception and being driven to the brink of madness as TV shows cut out every 45 seconds, were pixellated, and channels just disappeared. Sometimes I could get no channels at all, next day, 10 or more, but always they cut in and out.I tried this antenna out of desperation. Not only is it 5% of the size, but I get more channels, have virtual zero cut outs or pixellation, and I have it hanging on the wall *behind a picture frame* so you cannot even tell it's there. All the channels are clear now in full HD, and I got four new channels to boot!. I had the ClearStream in the attic which placed it 42 feet above ground level. This one is just behind the TV out of sight. Now, for a scientific comparison, I placed the ClearStream in exactly the same place. The ClearStream has the same problems wherever it is installed. This one outperforms it in every way. I strongly recommend this antenna. I now have two, one in the basement (which still gets as many channels as the one two stories higher) and one upstairs.I have convinced my mother-in-law to ditch her cable and switch to one of these, instead. Should save about $80 per month!

Perfect Solution!
Must say I was V-E-R-Y skeptical about the manufacturer's claims and no user reviews for this flat indoor antenna. I was leaning towards the amplified Mohu Leaf, great idea but the $74 price tag was a real put-off, and I bit the bullet and ordered this similar one for around $35. I got the model without cable because other models only have annoying black cables attached,(not decor friendly & reason I deducted 1-star.) I had planned to use my indoor amplifier, but this thin HD Blade worked flawlessly without an amplifier the minute I connected it to my white 30ft coax cable from the white LED TV I just purchased. So far it's hanging at the highest point of my window pane with transparent package tape. I have yet to try other locations, but since my apt is in a dead zone of sorts (no cell phone reception on the ground floor of a 3-story Los Angeles stucco bldg.,) the Blade antenna pulled in over 90-stations and the reception surprised me! I live about 30-miles from the Los Angeles transmitting towers. I like that you can use white side, and I will experiment with placing it behind framed artwork later. For now this Blade works very well and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend an arm&leg or buy some ugly indoor antenna!

It works
I like how flat and cleanly designed it is, the sticky tape that comes with it worked well to stick it to the back of my television. I have a sony projection HDTV in front of a window so it seemed like a good place to conceal it.It picks up only a few channels, but my area doesn't appear to have many anyway, only one of them is HD but you can tell so I can't complain on that. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't have purchased it, but only because for $35 there isn't but 4-5 over-the-air channels in my area anyway. Check your local over-the-air channel map online first if you are considering buying an antenna.

slim and good quality
I have this and a mohu leaf. Oddly the signal transmitted to give you picture quality I preferred on the signal blade, the picture is beautiful and crisp,I found the mohu to also have a nice picture but the color seemed off. My signal blade is on the main level and unfortunately does not capture all the channels the mohu does. At night only, I either have to sacrifice the center for abc or vice versa. But I have hulu so I am okay either way. I do recommend this product , especially if you are canceling your cable like me.

Better than nothing.
Although one channel reception suffered, all the rest (35 channels total) improved. The one that suffered, used to be one of the best. A friend reported the same results with his reception (same channel and antenna), weird. Mine hangs in a window, not much to look at but it worked best there, coaxial cable seems to act as part of the antenna, as well. Improved signal may be due to the ability/requirement to use a coaxial connection cable length of your choice. Would I buy another one? Maybe, I like to experiment though.071113: July now and I've reconsidered my review, moved the antenna to a different room/TV. When I compare this thing to a $5 or $6 pair of rabbit ears, it's just a little better, with different reception issues. In other words, you might want to consider rabbit ears in the same price range as this. Conclusion, I would not purchase this product again.

Works, but finicky about placement
I live about two miles away from the TV transmitter towers in my area and this antenna gives me excellent reception on all HDTV channels. The two star rating is due to the difficulty in receiving all channels without moving the antenna. The problem is acute for channels that share a transmission tower.I got it to work by laying the antenna flat and placing CD covers under one edge to warp that edge.Tech support suggested I place the antenna on a window (not an option given my HDTV location) and/or using a longer cable to place the antenna as high as possible (I tried this and it didn't help). Antenna Met My Needs
I have this antenna and a Mohu leaf. The pretty comparably receive channels, which is to say that both receive all the channels within the area that I'd expect and a couple out-of-market channels that I wouldn't expect (I live north of Baltimore and receive all the Baltimore channels and some DC channels). If I were to compare the two, the Mohu is a slightly more convenient size, but I'm not crazy about it's permanently affixed RG6 cable (the Solid Signal is better set up for you to select whichever length of cable you wish). The Solid Signal is also very professional looking in its construction, while the Leaf looks like it was laminated in someone's basement with home laminator.
