Solid mount for the money
I first purchased this mount in 2020 & it lasted about 2 years before cracking on the backside on my motorcycle. I reached out to the the company, and they had me send some pictures of the cracking, & they sent me a new one pretty quickly. Unfortunately, it's starting to crack again. But, for the money, this mount works really well, even if I need to replace it every 2 years. I've never once worried about my phone falling out or becoming unsecured from the mount. Its a solid mount that I trust. Even though it's showing a crack, I'll be buying it again.

Great Company and works great, use it accordingly and you'll get the most of this mount...
Ok I say use the mount accordingly because of course if you use this mount in a violent environment of course you'll experience breaks like I've seen. I think it depends in my opinion how you're mounting it. How are you riding, are you doing bunny hops, hitting heavy mountain biking etc. I can't speak for those types of scenarios personally but to me this mount is awesome. I've used it on my rides varying from a few miles to 14-15 mile trips and it works fantastic. You don't need to tighten the rotating portion of the mount that holds your phone very tight. For me I left it with a slight give so I could adjust it if need be and even when I hit a few roads through some rough city blocks on my commutes and it held up. I may have had to readjust it, but only slightly and it wasn't a big deal at all. I have a Schwinn road bike with drop bars and it has a set of breaks on the middle of the bars as well but it didn't impede installation. In fact I was able to try different ways of mounting it whether it be the open side facing me or outward to let the brake cable pass. Turns out the best way was the closed side because the mounting bracket had an open space for the cable to pass through so it worked out. Installation was a breeze. You could take out the rubber grips inside if you have insulated drop bars like mine to help with the closing of the clamp. That was what I had to do and as far as losing the cushioning of the rubber grips, the insulated handle bars made up for that. I have an iPhone X and it fit perfectly and held perfectly. For convenience I only used two of four available silicone bands on opposite corners and it held up fine for ease of dismounting it. Not recommended for all because I ride city roads, but that's just me. Also I should note that the two grips on each side to initially place your phone in have spring tension. So it retracts and grips the phone, with rubber backing. The silicone grips didn't impede my ability to use my phone either. It isn't too bulky, it actually looks pretty stylish, and on top of the looks, it does it's job. Again, I mean you can't stick this mount on a dirt bike and get crazy with it, I'm sure it would break, but common sense would tell you not to mount a phone when you are doing X-Games type of activities anyhow. I think the price for this mount is MORE than fair for the product. If you are second guessing buying this, I recommend you not to and go ahead and get it, you'll be happy you did. Not to mention it's easy to register your product with your email and name for a LIFETIME warranty, how can you beat that? Do they honor that warranty? YES they do. I've had a unique situation that had nothing to do with the products structural integrity or repairs, but it required me to use the warranty and I can tell you they were more than happy to help me. So not only is the product great, the warranty is too. This is probably one of my first reviews I've ever done and I've been an Amazon member for a long time. I had to write this because I wanted people to buy something good for commuting and who weren't sure about buying it. Also, because these guys are great. I did not receive the product for free for this review, I paid for it just like anyone else did. Thanks for reading, hope the review helped. Material: quality four stars because it is plastic, but don't let that fool you, it's strong. Durability: four stars because again it's plastic and I know others will try to get crazy on their vehicles, bikes etc. and it will probably give way if you are doing jumps and whatnot. Versatility: Five stars, It more than likely will hold all phone types, even Notes. It opens up that much. And you could mount it anywhere pretty much as long as your handlebars aren't already full of different items like horns, bells, lights etc.

Really nice phone mount, just doesn't fit with the wallet case on my phone.
This is a nice phone mount. It is well built and sturdy. The grip for the phone grips the phone on two sides. The mount comes with 3 rubber supports, each a different size to accommodate various phone sizes. The rubber supports are to slip over the corners of your phone for added support, making it more secure and less likely to fall from the mount. The grip is sturdy and seems to support the phone well, but I wonder if it will eventually loosen. I don't see a way to adjust this grip.. There is a very long screw used to tighten the mount to the handlebar. It takes forever to tighten because of the length of this screw. I like how the mount looks, except for the very long screw that sticks up on the back. Unfortunately even the largest rubber support is not long enough to reach the corners of my phone because of the style of case I have on my phone. I do not want to have to remove the case every time I want to ride.

So far...so good.
12 July 2020 - Review update - As noted in my prior posts, I have purchased two Roam Co-Pilots, one for my bike, one for my girls bike. We have done a lot of riding the past several months. Most recently, we did a lot of riding in the Berkshire region of Massachusetts. The product held up extremely well. There were no issues of the product not holding the phones. There were no issues of the phones vibrating. We did riding on major highways as well as surface roads (back roads). No issues noticed. Very good product for the price. This will be my last post regarding this product unless for some strange reason it fails within the coming year, which I highly doubt it will. Cheers! 28 May 2020 - Review update - As promised, spring arrived here in New England and I have had several opportunities to get out on the bike and test the Roam. So far it has performed flawlessly. The slight movement I was anticipating has not happened. The phone stays in one position. It is a nice addition to have the GPS available while riding. Also, I did purchase a second one for my girls bike (2015 Honda Rebel) and mounted the Roam on her bike just last week. She went on a long ride to Cape Cod and said the Roam was absolutely a plus. She was able to use the GPS function without any issues. The handlebars on the Rebel do not leave too much room to mount the Roam, but I was able to find a spot on the left handle bar that made it easy to view and use. Overall, both of us are very satisfied with this product. If anyone has any doubts, put those fears to rest, I will recommend this product each time the topic comes up. And because I have now 'road' tested the product, I would like to update the overall rating to five stars. Stay safe out there. December 2019 - Purchased this product as a Christmas gift to myself. Was looking for something dependable, yet reasonably priced. Easy to put together out of the box and came with three (3) silicone nets. The Roam is mounted on my 2012 Honda Shadow Phantom. However, weather here in the northeast is not conducive to riding a motorcycle right now. So, any true product review will have to wait until spring 2020 which is why I gave it four stars overall. I did notice one feature that I am not sure how it will effect operation. With the holder mounted on the handlebars, fully tightened, I can still move the 360 degree ball socket with my hands. Not sure how that will hold up traveling on the road. I envision that the phone will move a bit, requiring slight adjustments while riding. My potential fix for this is to glue a small (very small) piece of thin rubber (like a piece of a rubber band) to the tip of the ball (pivot point). My hope is the rubber will keep the phone from moving at all. Also, in order to move the phone to a different position, my hope is it will require the mechanism to be loosened quite a bit in order to break free of the rubber band friction. When the good weather arrives in 2020, I will test my theory and update the review. Oh, one more thing. I will be purchasing a second Roam Co-Pilot this week for my girls bike (2015 Honda Rebel). I am doing so because so far, based on what I have seen, I am confident that the Roam Co-Pilot will function flawlessly. It appears to be very well built of a hard plastic, has 360 degree maneuverability, and is reasonably priced. Stay tuned for an update in spring 2020.

Does the job but can look untidy if your phone isn't attached.

I had one to cycle Lands End to Jon O'Groats, one to cycle around Wales and two others in between. Of all of them, this model works the best. The best feature is the rubber retainers straps. These go over the corners of the phone, and prevent it from coming free of the carrier. That happened quite a lot with the previous holders, and had led to smashed screens in the past. It fits easily onto the handlebars, although the bracket comes loose unless under pressure from the clamp, so you need to do it up quick using both hands. Over the course of around 12 miles on the towpath, the mount moved a total of 8cm downwards. Under normal road conditions, the mount doesn't move from the position you set it.

Consigliato.

Excellent bicycle phone mount. Works as intended and the phone fits snugly and safely on the mount even while riding under extreme condition. Well worth buying! Be sure to check your phone width before getting this.
