This tag is amazing! No special app is needed to scan the QR code with your phone. Upon scanning, it brings up all the pet information, including a photo, pet name, breed, owner's details, medical needs, address, and contact phone numbers. Best of all, this information is stored for free.My absolute favorite part is that every time the QR code is scanned, I receive a real-time email alerting me to my pet's location. It makes me feel like she is a bit safer, and I believe this tag will increase the chances of finding her if she ever gets lost. I love it!

The tag and concept is good, but the tag8 software is useless. Most of their links will show you 404 error. The one particular one on the tag, also doesn't redirect properly. Multiple html errors cause no information. Tag found notice has no location, no mobile numebr of person or any details except time scanned, that to in some foreign time zone. Better to make a QR codeyourself online and put on a tag. It is too much hassle both for the owner, and the finder. It's such a basic requirement for a tag, but failed to deliver due to extremely bad written coding.

Pros: Provides very useful data with respect to the health of the animal and contact information of the owner, to the person who access the portal. Cons: Too small a barcode photo. Thus making it very difficult to scan and access the portal. The bar code photo should have been much bigger/better. And, when someone tries to access the portal it asks for a lot of information from the person who has found the animal and has scanned the barcode. This may make a lot of people weary of providing help to the animal in need.

This dog tag is durable, easy to use, easy to set up, and works accurately. It’s also lightweight. It’s easy to get on any collar, and it took me about 10 minutes to set up and sync and works like a charm. The design & size is perfect even for small dogs. At this price point it’s a no brainer for your pooch’s safety.

The hook is flimsy, the interace on website is terrible. If anyone scans the QR code - it will be long until the page finally loads. The QR code itself is not legible even with the most HD cameras. Great idea, bad execution.

It was bigger then what I thought it would be and due to this my cat did chew it off. But he did have a lot of fun playing with the part he had taken off

You can't actually enter contact info into the website/tag set-up. It auto-fills a random phone number and won't let you change it. You can't leave any info blank, so that also means someone who find your pet has 100% of the pets info, and 0% of the owners contact info. This is going to get someones pet stolen.

Idea is great but the tag I have is not found by the website. Which means, I’ve registered, have my details and all but now it just does not recognise the tag I bought. And customer support have not responded after 3 days. I wonder if it was an emergency. Better the traditional phone tag and microchip.

Lovely idea but lasted 2 months before it broke off

I purchased two and both lost with the little puppy , the ring is so soft to be dropped , shewed, lost!
