Absolutely Beautiful and a Great Quality Scoby!!! I was expecting a very small Scoby, although it was the size of my Palm and it looks so BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thank you for the awesome instructions. Today I began my first batch of Kombucha and look forward to enjoying my first of many drinks 🥰

Defective Product - Poor Customer Service
Defective Product - Poor Customer Service Guess I'll jump on the "mold growth within a week" train. Seems there are quite a few of us. Also, sent an email to customer service asking about adding sugar as the directions are not clear. Two days later, customer service or lack thereof sent me a pdf that has no bearing on the issue I raised. There are other brands and vendors and while this item is not returnable, you can still get a refund from Amazon.

Very excellent
I bought this, it worked very well. My house was very cold so it took some time to ferment but at the end of the process, my scoby had another scoby.

Excellent SCOBY
This was an excellent purchase, I am drinking a lot more Kombucha than usual and it is having a positive effect on me by reducing and removing inflammation from my body.

Good skoby. Bad delivery.
Don’t order it summer time. It came extremely hot. I thought it would be dead, now on the second brewing it almost back to normal. I was able to save it. Huge minus to Amazon delivery service.

Worked Great, Growing Beautifully
I have made lots of kombucha but I took a few years off so I didn't have a scoby. I had never ordered one before but figured I would try it this time instead of growing my own. This scoby arrived in enough liquid (I added it to a gallon jar with 12 cups of tea and I did not add any additional kombucha) and has been growing beautifully. It almost tripled in size in the first week. Happy with it :)

Words from a very experienced Kombucha maker. Avoid at all costs....
I am an experienced kombucha maker that has actually taught city wide courses on kombucha. I've tried making kombucha twice with these scobys and they both failed. Scoby's are overridden with yeast culture and won't grow. They simply result in a massive black yeast bloom. Worthless and expensive
