I am surprised that all the reviewers who praise this item are not VERIFIED purchasers, the verified ones are the only ones that actually provided negative comments and i am one more to add.I returned this worthless Product back after 48 hrs, it almost ruined my floor, and it is not safe at all if you have children playing around!I filled the tank up and turned it on, it would leak water from the sides by any slight movement, which could cause an electric shock or worse if your not paying close attention.This device was useless on the minimum setting, after raising it to maximum power, the mist started to come from the bottom and i though its working, few hours later i started to notice water underneath the device, the mist creates a pool of water which can ruin ur floor, desk, table cover..etc.Will NEVER recommend this to anyone!

Pros: Output of vapor was great and I loved the tank size for overnight use! Great boyish style to it for my sons room!Cons: did leave moisture on surface even on a low setting. While putting the tank cap back on, the "locking pieces" on the tank and cap broke so I could no longer screw the cap on. See attached picture.I really wanted to love this defuser but the fact that it broke a month (and change) after use is why I only gave two stars.

I'm so happy with this humidifier. I use it for my orchids and its small size and black color make it very unobtrusive. I'm going to buy another to place among my ferns and bromeliads.

If I would of rated these when I first got them it would of been 5 star but I have had the 2 I bought for not even 2 months and firs the one started to leak out the bottom and I thought it was maybe a one off thing but now my other one totally stopped working only a couple days after the first one messed up. So guess they have a short life span. of course it had to happen AFTER my return window closed. I had a couple friends buy the same one so I hope theirs doesn't break too. :-(

You really shouldn't put essential oils in this! My peppermint ate right through the plastic inside and turned it white!

It is almost 13 inches high and 7 inches across.At first I was very confused when I read the instructions. I couldn't figure out where to add the oil. The instructions and pictures showed a compartment for the oil but there isn't one. I figured out you add it directly to the water compartment. This is so much easier than the humidifier I have that has a separate compartment with a pad and the oils are not mixed.This unit has a control on the front for the amount of mist desired. Again, this is a huge improvement over my other diffusers that are on / off / on / off. The humidifier holds an entire night's worth of water and no lights or blinking colors. It works great and blends into the background. I can set it to low for a subtle aroma or kick it up when I am sick and I need to inhale the rosemary and eucalyptus.I received this product at a discount or free for the purposes of evaluation in exchange for my unbiased review. revised: diffuser was great at first. Had this for exactly one month and used it maybe twice a week. It's already broken.

First time I used it it started leaking from the bottom onto my night stand. The wood on my night stand now has a large bubble in the wood. DO NOT BUY!!!!
